Manisha Koirala

Manisha was my favourite actress of the 90's. I think she's criminally underrated. Tabu, Urmila and Manisha are the best actresses of the 90's. They did justice to a variety of roles.

Manisha was overlooked for her fantastic performance in Dil Se, her best perf. after Khamoshi. Kajol is not even close to Manisha in terms of acting talent, yet she was hyped like anything for average performances.

Recently, I saw Lust Stories and was impressed by Manisha again.

Yeah she was at a time, movies made were not the best. Would be good to see her again with better roles

Manisha is my mom’s favourite actress from that era too!

And yeah I agree that she was underrated tbh, and probably would have got even more success in today’s era with more complex and varied storylines in BW...

She could look really beautiful when presented in the right way too (like in 1942, Gupt, Bombay)
