I agree.

She is not particularly bad in the show but she does not command the screen like Vidya or Tabu would have. She is underwhelming in certain scenes!

No. She was perfect as Mallika Jaan.

Not that I am going to watch the movie but entire cast is a miscast. Wish SLB casted different stars. Manisha should had worked on Urdu pronunciation or maybe both bhansali have forgotten about it. So many on social media talking about how bad her Urdu is. She is missing the H part in some words throughout the movie. I don’t think she was miscast. She played heartless mother and loving mother which not many actors can do that. She has always shine on the screen.

I watched it and only like manisha apart from aditi rao. But manisha made me continue heeramandi.

I didn’t like sonakshi much in it. Sanjeeda did amazing too.

The guy is a bigoted troll…no point trying to talk sense into such people. Their existence is to make us aware of the kind of creeps we have out there so that we can save ourselves from their toxicity.

she was fine, no need to hate

The thing is we have already seen Rekha & Madhuri do these type roles, even Vidya did similar roles. Plus Vidya won't be comfortable playing mother to all these grown up girls. Atleast Manisha was playing her age and she did well for her role. Vidya is one of the most over rated, I don't know what this forum finds so great in Vidya uska maza sirf raat ko aata hai actress

Manisha was the best part about the show cuz she ate and left no crumbs.
