Behkayali...Even when I am not thinking... Part 1

 I dedicate this story to adaahappiness who requested me to write on Pearl Ada.

A college....

A girl was pleading a boy.

"Please Arjun..please don't reject me".

Arjun:Anu...I told you..I don't love you.

Suddenly a slap fell on his face.

He looked at that person with a shock.It was a girl.

Arjun's best friend Yuvraj was also shocked.

Arjun looked around and he realized that all were watching her slap him.

The girl's friend Vishaka ran towards her seeing this from far .

Vish:Amrit...what did you do?

Amrit stared at Arjun.

Amrit:Are you not ashamed to cheat the girl who loved you blindly?She is crying and pleading you despite of being betrayed by you.How can you be so cruel?

Arjun was closing his fist in anger.

Arjun:Whoever you are...don't speak without knowing the truth.

Amrit:I am speaking after seeing everything with my own eyes.

Arjun:What you see may not be true.

Amrit:Oh really?Then where you romancing her?

Arjun got irritated.He looked at the other girl.

Arjun:Did I ever love you or give you false promise Anu?

Anu nodded:No.

Amrit:No need to hide the truth in fear of him.Say the truth.Expose this guy.

Vishaka:Amrit...he is saying the truth.Arjun and Anu were not lovers.I myself have noticed Anu goin after Arjun like an obsessed lover and Arjun shoving her away.

Amrit was stunned:What?

Amrit looked at Anu:Anu...is it true?Say the truth.

Anu was upset:It's true that Arjun never loved me or promised me that he will marry me.But I love him.I can't live without him.

Amrit was stunned.

Yuvraj:Now did you realize the truth?If this mad girl is after my friend should he sacrifice his happiness and make her his fake girl friend?

Amrit was embarrassed.Arjun walked away angrily while Yuvraj followed him.

Amrit stared at Anu:Don't waste your time by going after the boy who does'nt love you.Understand?

Anu nodded in fear as Amrit was yelling at her.Anu walked away.

Amrit looked at Vishaka:I simply slapped an innocent person.I need to apologize to him.

Vish:Yes,you should apologize to him.

Amrit went near Arjun.

Amrit:I am sorry.

Arjun looked at her in disbelief.

Arjun said in a sarcastic tone:You slapped me in public and now you are apologizing.Great.

Amrit felt ashamed of herself.

Amrit:I know that I really hurt you.But it was because of a major misunderstanding.Please forgive me.

Arjun:Ok.I forgive you.

Amrit smiled:Really?

Arjun:Yes.

Amrit:If you have forgiven me,shall we be friends?

Arjun smiled:Yes.

She smiled.

Amrit stood near him and took a photograph:Our first friendship selfie.

They smiled.

As Amrit walked away Yuvraj went near Arjun.

Yuvraj:I am surprised Arjun.You never showed any interest in a girl.Now you are made friends with a girl.That also with Amrita who insulted you.

Arjun:Yes,she is my first female friend and first girl friend also.

Yuvraj was confused:Girl friend?

Arjun:Yes.I mean fake girl friend.Because I will trap her in my fake love and dump her.Because she accused me of betraying a girl and slapped me in front of all,I will take revenge on her by doing what she accused me of.She will realize what a betrayal is.Then let her accuse me of cheating her.

Yuvraj was shocked.

Yuvraj:But Arjun,when did you start betraying a girl?

Arjun:Now.Because she is the first girl who hurt me.I will not leave her.I will punish her for messing up with me.

Yuvraj was still in shock.Unknown to them somebody took it's video.

Yuvraj's eyes were completely on Vishaka.

Suddenly Vishaka looked at him:What?

He was embarrassed:Nothing.

Vishaka smirked.

Finally they announced the result.

"The first prize for the Dandiya dance goes to Arjun Sehgal and Amrit Sharma".

Arjun and Amrit received the prize happily.

Arjun was singing holding a guitar.Everyone including Amrit was watching him sing.Arjun walked around Amrit singing.She blushed.

Vishaka and Amrit were sitting together.

Vish:Arjun seems to be always around you.Does he love you?

Amrit blushed:Stop it Vish.

Amrit blushed.Vishaka smiled.

Amrit:Well..I also feel that something is brewing between you and Yuvi.

Vishaka was blushing.

After a few days...

Amrit entered the park as per Arjun asked her to do.Flower petals started falling on them.

Amrit felt special.

Amrit saw Arjun there.

Amrit:Arjun!

Arjun smiled.

Suddenly his face became dull.

He thought:What is happening to me?Why I feel a strange sensation when she is with me?Even when I am not thinking anything,I am thinking bout Amrit.Why?While faking love to Amrit,am I really falling in love with her?No...it should not happen.I don't love her.It's only a love drama to take revenge on her.

Amrit ran towards Vishaka in excitement:Vish...Arjun confessed his love to me.He loves me.

Vish was excited:Wow...I am very happy for you Amrit.

They hugged each other happily.

Amrit came before Arjun in a beautiful blue suit.Arjun was lost in her beauty.Amrit could not stop blushing.

He thought:Why after convincing myself many times that I have no feelings towards Amrit I feel that Amrit is becoming important to me?

Arjun took Amrit to a restaurant surprising her.

Arjun who was watching her play passed a flying a kiss to her.Amrit blushed.

Arjun Amrit went boating and enjoyed.

Arjun-Yuvraj were sitting together.

Yuvraj:Arjun...Amrit trusts you a lot.Do you think that you are doing right to her?.

Arjun became dull.But he controlled his emotions.

He changed the topic purposefully.

Arjun:I am going to meet Amrit.

Yuvraj:But she has gone home.

Arjun:I will go to her house and meet her secretly.She will really think that I am so much in love with her that I can't live without her.

Yuvraj:Arjun....what is this yaar?

Arjun just left without listening to him.

A woman was shouting at a man.

She:Are you not ashamed to sell our daughter for money.

He:She is not my daughter.She is only your daughter.I married you.But I did'nt promise you that I will love your daughter like my own.

She started crying,

She:The biggest mistake which I did was to trust you and marry you.But I will not let you harm my daughter.I will protect her.

He started beating her.

He:The next month some people will come from abroad.I will hand over Amrit to them.They will take her abroad and I will get a big amount of money.We will lead a luxurious life Anjali.

Anjali spat at his face.

Anjali:You are the worst person in this world.I am not a cheap woman who can sell my own daughter for a luxurious life.

He looked at her angrily:How dare you!

He started beating her.

They were Amrit's mother Anjali and her step father Niranjan.

Amrit came running.

Amrit pushed Niranjan.

Amrit:Leave my mother.

Niranjan:How dare you?

Niranjan raised his hand to beat Amrit.Anjali held his hand.

Anjali:Don't touch my daughter.

Niranjan pushed her and locked the room from outside.He dragged Amrit to another room.He took a belt.

Niranjan:I will show you what I can do for pushing me.

Amrit did not care.

Amrit:Since my childhood you have been torturing us.This is nothing more than that.I don't care.

Niranjan started beating her with the belt.But not even one drop of tear fell down from her eyes.Unknown to them this was watched by Arjun with a shock.His heart broke into pieces.

Niranjan pushed her down and left the room.Arjun's eyes were full of tears.

Amrit has an evil stepfather with nasty plans in the works. Hope she and her mother get away.

Arjun is already feeling bad at some level for his plan. She just slapped him. He is about to do far worse.

Arjun grabbed Vishaka's hand and walked to the empty hall.Yuvraj followed them.

Vish:Arjun,what is this?

Yuvraj:Where are you taking Vish to?

Arjun:I brought Vish here so that no one will listen to what we talk.

Arjun looked at Vish:Say what's happening in Amrit's family life.

Yuvraj:What is the matter Arjun?

Arjun:Yesterday when I went to Amrit's house,I peeped into her room through the window and I saw a man beating her terribly.

Yuvraj was shocked.

Vish:That's Amrit's stepfather Niranjan.He is very cruel to her and her mother.Amrit has no peace of mind in her house.She is eating pain every moment.Only college gives her happiness.She is happy only with me and you Arjun.

Arjun's heart got pierced.

Vishaka walked off.

Arjun's tears rolled down his cheeks.

Arjun:Poor Amrit found happiness in me,but I was thinking of snatching her happiness.How cruel and heartless I am!

Yuvraj felt sad.

Arjun wiped his tears.

Arjun:I will not hurt Amrit.I will give her all the happiness which she is lacking in her life.Because I love her.I love Amrit.

Yuvraj smiled:You took the right decision Arjun.

Arjun smiled emotionally.

Amrit reached the college.Arjun got reminded of Amrit getting beaten cruelly.He ran towards her and embraced emotionally.Amrit smiled.

His parents were very happy to see Amrit.Amrit touched their feet.

His mother Sumitra:When Arjun told us about you I never thought that you are an Angel.

Andy:I had full faith in Arjun's choice.After all he is my son.

Arjun-Amrit smiled at each other.

Amrit told her mother Anjali about Arjun.

Anjali:Are you sure that Arjun is a nice boy?Because I don't want you to make the mistake I made.

Amrit:No Maa.Arjun is really nice.He is really serious about me.That's why he 
introduced me to his parents.

Anjali:I want to meet Arjun.

Amrit:Ok Maa.

Amrit took Anjali to the temple.There Arjun came and Amrit introduced Arjun to Anjali.
Arjun touched her feet and Anjali blessed him.

Anjali:Do you love my daughter Amrit?

Arjun:More than myself.

Anjali:Will you look after her like a jewel forever?

Arjun:I will always protect her from all the dangers and make her happy.I will not 
let her eyes be wet.

Amrit became happy.Anjali smiled emotionally.

Anjali:This is more than enough for me.

They smiled.

They attended the puja in the temple.

After a few days....

Anjali told Amrit about Niranjan selling her to some people.

Amrit was shocked.She was shattered.

Amrit:How can someone be so bad Maa?Why does he hate me so much?

Anjali:He is a beast.Now listen..tell everything to Arjun and escape from this house with Arjun.

Amrit:But Maa...

Anjali:Don't you trust Arjun's love?Do you think that Arjun's love will melt if you tell him the truth about your family?

Amrit:No Maa.I trust Arjun's love.I will tell him everything.

The next day in college....

Amrit to Arjun:Arjun...I hid a big thing from you.You don't know my family back ground.

Arjun:I know everything Amrit.Once when I had come to your house to see you and saw how 
cruel your step father was.

Amrit was shocked.

Arjun:I felt like killing your step father.But I controlled myself as I was in shock 
seeing the whole scenario.

Amrit:You knew everything.Then why did'nt you tell me?

Arjun:I did'nt want to put you in an awkward situation.I wanted you to share it when you
 are comfortable sharing it with me.

Amrit:Arjun...

Arjun:Don't worry Amrit.I am always there with you.

Amrit looked at him emotionally.

Amrit:There is one more problem Arjun.My step dad is going to sell me for money.So my 
mother asked me to escape from that house with you.

Arjun was shocked.

Arjun:How can someone be so cheap and evil?Your mother is right.You both don't stay there.
Come with me to my house.

Amrit was surprised:Really?Will your parents agree?

Arjun:They will not go against my wish as they will stand for the right thing.

Amrit smiled with relief.

Anjali and Amrit lied to Niranjan that they were going to the temple and went out.Arjun was
 waiting there with his car.They got inside the car and went to Arjun's house.
Andy and Sumitra welcomed them.

Sumitra:You both stay here.

Anjali:But how can we stay here?

Andy:Anjaliji,if you think that in front of society there is no relationship between us 
let conduct the engagement of Amrit and Arjun.

They all became happy.

Engagement....

Arjun got dressed in a traditional attire while Amrit wore a western frock.

They exchanged rings.

After Anjali and Amrit went missing Niranjan realized that they fooled him.With the mobile number he traced their location and rang up Anjali.

Niranjan:You think you can fool me.No way.

Anjali:Just get lost.

Niranjan:How dare you talk like this to me?I will not leave you.

Anjali:I don't care.

Niranjan:I will kill your daughter and her lover like I killed your husband Anurag.

Anjali was shocked.She became weak:What?You killed Anurag?

Niranjan:Yes,I only killed him.Now you can understand what I can do to your daughter.

Anjali was shattered.She cut the call and cried.

She told this to others.

Amrit:He killed my papa.

Amrit cried.

Anjali:He is worse than any other evil force.He is very dangerous...more than I expected.He will kill Amrit and Arjun.

Arjun:No aunty.He won't do anything to us.

Anjali:He will...

Sumitra:I think he might try to harm you both.

Andy:Sumitra and Anjaliji are right.So you both stay in our Shimla house.In the mean time I will get Niranjan arrested.

Anjali:You cannot do anything.All police men are under his control.I had also tried to get him 
arrested because of domestic violence.But nobody even touched him.He was so powerful that  could not even escape from that hell with m daughter.He even drugged me to make me weak enough to not run away.So Arjun and Amrit...just leave soon.Please....

Arjun-Amrit left for Shimla throwing away their old SIMS.They gave their new numbers only to 
Yuvraj and Vishaka.

Niranjan keeps getting worse. why is he so hell bent on torturing the mother and daughter?
