He got his due as a director all right. But he wasted precious years pursuing his acting career when he's only mediocre. If he ever gets out of his middleage-crisis and Zoya and his chums stops offering roles....we'd see some stellar movies.

I am sure I am in the minority but in both the movies if he had toned down Preity’s characters a notch or two down, the movies would have been all the more better- especially Lakshya where she literally bores me to tears every time she shows up and starts her preaching!😭😆

I love Hrithik and Preity together (and they were cute as Karan and Romila too ngl) but I gotta agree about the Lakshya part 😆 Also now that you've pointed it out, yeah she indeed was kinda preachy in DCH too especially with her zidd to 'teach' Aamir/Akash how beautiful love is 😳
