The iconic song Tip Tip Barsa Paani is still known to be one of the best-choreographed songs of all time and fans tend to hum this song as soon as the beats land on their ear-drums. However, creating an original and iconic song is never easy, and there are a lot of factors that go into making such an admirable song. But now, actress Raveena Tandon has made a shocking revelation that is bound to shock the fans. 

Raveena admitted it wasn’t an easy task to shoot the song. While dancing in water wasn’t difficult enough, Raveena recalled the obstacles she had to face during her performance. 

In an interaction with Pinkvilla, the Mohra actress revealed that the song was filmed over four days, on a construction site and there were rocks and nails lying around, and she had to perform barefoot. During the shoot, Raveena reportedly caught fever as the song required her to be drenched, and the water used was very cold.

These problems were just the tip of the ice-berg and many more difficulties arose during the shoot. The actress added that she bruised her knees, and was on her periods while filming the song. She even wonders how the makers managed to make the number look as sensuous as it did.

In a previous interview with the Asian Age, she said, “I was never comfortable doing provocative songs. But this time, I was convinced that it would be okay. And, it was. The song was fabulous and the choreography, though erotic, was never suggestive or vulgar. I’d never do anything even remotely off-colour in my entire career.”

For the uninitiated, Tip Tip Barsa Paani was a part of the 1994 film Mohra which starred  Akshay Kumar in the lead role. The number was sung by Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik.

Did she really need to tell the world about that? 🤔

So her libido was high.

It shows in the chemistry , future notes for directors when to shoot a sizzling show between the hero and heroine.

what rubbish.....I dont think tampons were used much that time, so i dont understand how she can shoot a song full wet during her periods.....

So many actresses have shot songs during high fever, rough locations, cold places. What's the big deal? People go to offices and do their work. 

As regards periods and water, not sure if it hold so much water without staining and messing up.

Besides why did Raveena share this? This is something personal.

Why does she need to reveal this after more than 2 decades?

Maybe that's what she is pointing out that she was irked during shooting because of the pain and discomfort and and crinkled her nose at pervy little Ranveer Singh .

It's not totally the same thing, but my swimmer friends told me that when they are in the water, their bleeding completely stops for that time.. but of course, gravity while swimming is quite different.

Considering she was fully drenched in the song, it's indeed puzzling how she managed to pull off the shoot while on periods.

I swim so when you are under the pressure of water, you period stops. Even under the shower.
