Chap IV
From the time Drishti woke up, her heart was in a turmoil.Today of all days her thoughts were fixated on a person Rakshit Sir.No matter how ,much she feigned anger and hate on hearing his name,she could not help but still love him. If she wouldn't have seen it with her own eyes she would never have believed the sight that had greeted her.She even had a vivid dream today about him being one of the investors. She didn't know what else life had in store for her.
Rakshit was suddenly feeling very restless.He had a very good feeling about this deal.He didn't know why but he felt that she was close by. He didn't know why he felt actual happiness today. Vinay who was about to say something faltered seeing the huge smile on his boss's face.This was the same smile he had on his way whenever Drishti Mam was nearby.No matter what the outcome of the deal would be,he was actually thrilled to see his boss smiling once again.
DP CORP,it read in bold letters."Seems like we have reached our destination Vinay." As Rakshit got out of his car he got the biggest shock of his life.Standing before him was the woman of his dreams,the woman who ruled his heart,his wife,his Drishti. Call him selfish,call him hopeful he had never signed the divorce papers she had sent him.
Drishti was equal parts shocked and happy to see him after 2 long years.Their separation had taken a toll on him. He had dark circles under his eyes,he had lost a lot of weight but in her eyes he looked as handsome as ever. She could already feel the gazes of the female population mentally undressing him. She was about to go and stake a claim on him,declare that she was his wife when his betrayal flashed before her eyes and a look of hurt and pain crossed her face.
Rakhit seeing her after so many days was not in his right frame of mind. He had seen the emotions pass on her face shock,happiness,possessiveness then anger hurt and pain. Unable to see her in pain and unable to bear the thought of a moment's separation from her now that he had found her,he just hurried towards her and hugged the life out of her.She could feel tears on her shoulders.
Mr Shergill was crying . But WHY?? She had never seen him cry and her love and concern took her to hug him in return.
The staff of DP CORP were to stunned to react. Aarav was confused . Why was Mr Rakshit Shergill hugging Drishti like there was no tomorrow? And hoe the hell did he know Drishti?
Divya and Shikar who had some last minute changes to make had come down to find a group of people gathered at the entrance of the office and a tall man hugging her di.
"Tmhari himmat kaise hui meri Di ko touch krne ki? Main abhi btati hu tmhe. Before Shikhar could stop her she rushed forward only to find herself face to face with her jiju,THE GREAT RAKSHIT SHERGILL.
