^^ Nah he wasn't unmarried & he was totally besotted by MD!! They used to apparently share even rooms when they used to shoot outside Bombay. When he got involved in the bomb blast she just gave an IV stating she didn't know him & wished him luck or something & when he came to know of it he cried a lot, he used to beg & scream & cry for her to visit him but she never responsed. She was pretty close to his sister's too & there was strong talk according to magazines, that they'll get married. With just one IV, she dropped him like a hot stale potato. People think Md is some sweet simpering coy lady but like Ash, she's another ruthless go-getter. I am not denying that anyone would do this becuser associating with a criminal is the last thing any sane man will want but more it's her method.

RR: They are, aren't they. Both middle-class with the typical coy simpering Indian naari image but they aren't so. They just cling onto their middle-class values hence are so <3'ed. they're essentially go-getters who wanted to win at any cost. Nothing wrong with that either since they had to work for absolutely everything & that's admirable.. But it's her ruthless method of disposal that shows other traits within her that aren't so favourable. As I said- No point believing she won't do all this because he was a criminal implicated in one of the worst terror attacks in India uptick that point, but the way she used & discarded him shows a lot. Apparently she was totally besotted by her for years after & according to this old BI every time she would appear on the tv, and he would be drunk, he would trace her face with his fingers & say "they don't make them like her anymore." Even Sunil Dutt felt terrible the way she just discarded his son.
