Rasmeduniya Episode 27:
" Forgive others as quickly as you want Allah to forgive you. ". Sheikh Yasir Qadhi
Why doesn't Tabriz understand the above statement? Why can't he forgive Tayi Jaan and move on? Otherwise, it will become a never ending vicious cycle of vengeance! I have never been fond of tabriz from the beginning. I found him weak, timid, indecisive, spineless person, who couldn't stand up for Musarrat, himself or his daughters. He watched helplessly as Tayi Jaan ruined his daughters' lives one by one. Now, when he said that he wants to see Shiza's life to be ruined as well, I felt pity for him. Pity because Allah has blessed him with not one but three Rahmas (daughters) and he still doesn't have a heart to have Rahma (mercy) on others!
I'm so happy that they showed Arsam in rehab. He has a serious and true medical illness that needs to be treated. I hope we get to see some cute scenes between Shiza and Harib.
Tayi Jaan obviously understands the grave mistakes she committed, and is bearing the consequences now. She is not the evil, conniving woman that she was in the initial episodes, making me wonder if she ever was a warm hearted, kind person. But then, how can a heart filled with compassion do what she did to Harib? Or was she also, perhaps depressed? Studies have shown that depression and substance abuse in parents increases the risk of them abusing their children as well.
I was happy how Harib told Tayi Jaan that she is not entitled to say anything to him. Harib has moved on, and is getting better. I just wished they had shown him getting the treatment for his illness and his family understanding the complexity of his disease. Borderline is incurable, but with therapy, spousal and family support, the symptoms can be managed. Even the smallest situation can become a trigger like seeing Faris and Haya together. Why did Faris follow them??
The scenes between harib and Haya are getting cuter. There is enough zing and zest in their chemistry to keep me yearning for more. I like Armeena with short hair though.
The best scenes of the episode were the one between Harib and Faris. The two brothers, who do not see eye to eye, are at each other's throat, at the same time struggling with their own inner demons; their combat in the battle ground is vibrant because if their inner rage. The scenes were full of energy, with amazing chemistry between the two brothers, and both Sami and Bilal were brilliant. I have a gut feeling Faris will read Tayi Jan's diary and will find out what she did to Harib. That's the only logical closure between the two.
Looks like writer wants to develop Shazia, brother in law, sexual assault angle; it's good because the poor girl needs a closure and he deserves to be punished! I find this show interesting week after week, unlike some others who think it's slow and dragged. Maybe I am prejudiced because it's raising issues that I am concerned about from child abuse, mental illness to sexual abuse and domestic violence.
