The drama's theme is not a love story between Wali and Farah, it's a story of family, repentance and the issues that come about with miscommunication.If you're watching the drama just for the lead couple, might as well watch something like Dil-e-Muztar, Goya or Humsafar where the themes are the actual love story. Diyar-E-Dil deals with bigger emotions and values and is better than most dramas. Also, we've gotten some amazing Wali/Farah moments. Farah's apology and talk with Wali, the hug scene between them, Wali saving Farah, Behroz giving Farah away right after the wedding, considering the theme of the story, we have gotten enough Wali/Farah in a story primarily based on family.
I love Diyar-E-Dil and feel like no drama can reach the level it has simply because it's not just a love story like every other drama. I will definitely run a marathon and start a thread for it here, anyone is welcome to join because I think DeD is definitely the world's best drama as it is the only drama ever which I have written fanfiction for.
