I was definitely living in stone age, to miss this movie and also been idiot to keep on delaying for watching, it for ages now.

One of the best, movie reminds me so much of Roja ( not same theme, but has same feel to it, weird one). I adore Konkana from Page3 days and she was stunning here and Rahul loved him in Jankar beats and he is really good. I love the story and presentation.

Innocence in a cruel world. The best part was how the person she disliked and cursed being with ends up being the one she so hopelessly fell far :(((((((. The movie talks about so many things, you cannot judge a person based on their religion without knowing them (stereotyping), how some people can do things to save their own selves (the man giving away the old couple to safe his own life). I felt Meenakshi longed for love and care along with adventure which was offered to her by Raja. They made me go all weirdly girlish which I had to even tease i,e, Awww... Santa was cute. I loved the way they parted ways, he returns her not keeping anything physical which was here such as the camera roll, which she calls him Mr. Iyer. Guess that sums it up for ppl like me to read btw lines 😆

I scream for Mr. and Mrs. Iyer 2 please, but then again it wouldn't have had the same magic.

One wild moment-un moment d'egarement.
Not a fan of French movies-but am so in love with Vincent Cassel-will watch anything he is in and he has starred in some weird shit.
Anyway not a bad film with the teenage daughter of Vincent's character 's best friend mistaking one night's drunken sex with him as the beginning of an undying love story while he feels nothing but self reproach for his one moment of weakness.
The ending is ambiguous-kind of expected for a French movie.
Vincent Cassel is amazing

Mon Roi-My King
Initially thought the movie was going to be pretentious bullshit-the kind that French cinema specialises in.But it's actually a pretty intriguing insight into marriage with a charming, emotionally manipulative bas***d.
It gets frustrating to watch Tony (the female character)make excuses for Georgio the asshole.
The ending is ambiguous as usual.
Excellent performances by all and it's criminal that Vincent Cassel acts in so few movies.

American Ultra
American Ultra had a lot of potential. It is the stoner rendition of Bourne. There is room for both great action and endless dark humor. Unfortunately, the film fails to build on its promise.

The plot is very slow to take off. A good chunk is wasted on establishing Mike Howell's stoner lifestyle. You are almost ready to sleep before he is activated by his handler. Once he is activated the movie does take off. There is a lot of riveting action. The action scenes are a lot of fun. But the narrative is not as intriguing as a good action thriller should be.

Jesse Eisenberg to me is the weakest link in the movie. He comes across as too snivelling and annoying. The action scenes do not suit him at all. I think Michael Cera would have been a much better choice. Kristen Stewart is perhaps the best part of the movie. She brings the chemistry and X-factor that Jesse lacked. Now that she has switched back to alternative cinema after her stint with mainstream - her talent is able to blossom again.

Saw 10 minutes of Mohenjo Daro. Lame

Saw 40 minutes of Fan. It showed promise but that first chase sequence went on too long for me. A Little less lame 😆😆

Black Swan
Nina plays with herself,Nina has lesbian sex,Nina has an orgasm because she is a frigid little girl and that apparently bars you from being the main dancer 😕

Then there's Thomas who kisses and touches inappropriately his main dancer and then says "That was me seducing you, when it needs to be the other way around"😃

Somewhere in there she turns into the black swan and murders herself

i was not keen to watch this movie and this movie does not work for me.

Natalie Portman was too anemic for me throughout the movie barring the last few scenes.
Vincent Cassel is a chameleon- he looks different in every movie of his that I watch.

saw it a few days back...would call this film as a missed opportunity...this film would have been so good had it been well edited and backed with some better writing... felt that the courtroom drama was stretched and lacked the thrill element...music aint good...but nevertheless it was entertaining at parts...
Akki was good...liked the scene where he meets Cynthia for the first time in jail...liked Kumud Mishra as newspaper owner,he vociferously campaigns for Rustom and tries to influence the public and the jury...felt it was OTT in the second half...the actor who played inspector Vincent Lobo was decent...Illeana looked stunning but her char didn't have much to do...and Esha had a single expression in the entire film...

Airlift was far better than this film...

Trance
Je t'aime Monsieur Cassel but why is there so much nudity in all your movies -definitely not movies you can watch with parents.
Anyway watching Trance is a bit like watching a train wreck-I could'nt look away even though it was too chaotic to make any sense.
Danny Boyle's definitely inspired by Bollywood as Franck aka Cassel is shown to be rather indestructible and that last scene with petrol thrown on the car etc is so Bollywood.
James McAvoy scores with that scottish accent.
Could understand why Rosario Dawson was cast in her role-she does have a very hypnotic voice.
Strictly a one time watch for me.

Te3n- Predictable as hell! If it wasn't for Amitabh Bachchan's acting,I would've been so mad to spend two hours into this film which was marketed as a 'thriller'.Nawaz and Vidya were just some showpieces in the film.It was surprising to see Sabyasachi Chakraborty give such a mediocre performance.
The film is so dead from the first scene to the last.
