Oh i have read every single story of Farhat πŸ˜† Actually I started reading Urdu stuff 2-3 years back. My reading speed sucked big time and I could not read hard Urdu either so I started with Farhat's books because her writing style was simple and she even used simple words which were easier to read. So ya... But now i am trying out different authors. I have read PeK of course. I have read half of Mushaf.. i will complete it soon.

Meri reading speed ko salam. JKP has two volumes that means like 1100-1200 pages and I read it online on my choti si phone ki screen in 3 days. πŸ˜†
I can always suggest you stuff when it comes to long novels.

This makes sense, but I personally think Suhaib's love should have removed all hatred from her heart. She should actually consider herself lucky that Behroze left her and she got a life partner like Suhaib. I don't think Behroze would have loved and cared for her like Suhaib. Suhaib lived to keep other's happy whereas Behroze was selfish.

I know she hated Suhaib initially because she felt humiliated for being treated like an object but she eventually realised that she got a gem of a person in her life and lived a happy life with him. She should have forgotten her past but I guess Arjumand is not the type of women who would forget her humiliation that easily. I am just disappointed that even Suhaib's love could not erase her hatred.

Hmmm...there is no comparison about the brothers i.e. which brother kept her more happy. If Arjumand would've gotten married to Behroze under normal circumstances, who is to say that she would've been unhappy? When Behroze rejected her, not once did Arjumand express her wish to get married to him. In fact, she said she didn't want to get married at all. Even after her marriage, she only once talked about Behroze that too more specifically about Ruhi (after Behroze visits the haveli). What Arjumand always wanted was to get married to someone who would love and respect her. Her feelings for Behroze were not because of him as a person but rather the position he held in his life. Once that position was gone, the feeling was gone as well.

I believe Arjumand would've accepted Ruhi more easily in their life if Suhaib was present. But she feels lonely with Suhaib gone. Her partner who completed her, kept her happy, kept her sane. But now he's gone and Behroze is back and the past humiliation has resurfaced which wouldn't have if Suhaib had been there. Then Arjumand is asked to give her son to Behroze because that was Suhaib's wish and she'd have to be bound to Ruhi, the woman who was the reason Behroze humiliated her years ago...it's all a bit too much for Arjumand to handle on her own. Hence the negativity within her..

See Ruhi wasn't even ready to step in the haveli, so maybe that is why he didn't drop the bigger bomb on her. I always knew he would tell Ruhi and Faraah about the nikkah once they had come to the haveli. Had he told Ruhi about the nikkah on phone tou woh tou haveli kabhi bhi nahi aati. And he is going to ask Faraah about the nikkah, it is evident in the precap. BUT YES, he will emotionally blackmail her to some extent. When he asked Wali for his agreement, he was diplomatic and gave Wali the freedom of choice. Because at the end of the day, Wali's is not his son.. he has no right to impose his decisions on him. He's a 19 year old guy and very mature (Wali respects him but someone mature and samajhdaar liike Wali would never fall for his blackmailing and Behroze knows that) who could have his own choices and that's why Behroze was less of an emotional blackmailer when he asked Wali about the nikkah. Although, we are yet to see how he will talk to Faraah about the nikkah but going by the precap it seems he will use emotionally blackmailing as a tool. You see he is so guilty that he is ready to do anything. And even if he sort of pressurizes Faraah (which I'm sure he won't because Faraah is is so immature and loves her dad so much that Behroze won't need to impose any decision) it will be justified keeping the situations and characters in mind. He knows his daughter and maybe he also knows that Faraah doesn't like anyone else (which he wasn't sure of in Wali's case). Jin se hum pyaar karte hain, hum unpe apna haq samjhte hain.. I read this line in a book and this suits Behroze's situation and character well. He expects Faraah to agree to his decisions readily because she has always been such a loving and obedient daughter. So i guess Behroze won't need to impose his decision because Faraah will immediately fall for his emotional blackmailing.

I feel really bad for Fara as it seems it's she who'll be caught between her parents and their petty ego and zidd (seems the mantle of ego has shifted from AJ to Roohi, whereas Zidd still remains with BehrozeπŸ˜†) and as we know whatever happens, she'll end up disappointing one of her parent and she's caught between a rock and a hard place.

Zaya - Actually, the thing is that I am fundamentally against emotionally blackmailing the daughters into consenting for marriage. So whatever tactic Behroze applies, if he uses his authority as a father to take Farah's decision for her...I will by default be against that. This and the fact that Suhaib had explicitly mentioned that he wanted Farah as is DIL only if Wali and Farah both reach an understanding. Which means he wanted them to meet before, get to know each other at least enough that they see each other in the shape of their future life partner. Then if they were comfortable with the idea of marriage...carry on with the marriage. But Behroze is completely neglecting that and just wants this nikaah to be done ASAP. Wali at least had an idea beforehand about Suhaib's wish but what about Farah? Her whole life is at stake here as well.

@Mary - I understand dat it's guilt that's making Behroze and dat made Baseerat decide their respective child's marriage without their consent, but their atonement was at the expense of someone else. Baseerat cld have easily made Khirad his daughter and gave her a good education and made her future secure.
Again I cld in fact empathize with Farida and cld understand Y she did what she did with Khirad. I mean her husband of so many years threatening to divorce her over her not accepting Khirad wld hv been insulting to anyone in her place, though of course I don't condone what she did. Now it's a similar situation, but chalo at least Behroze didn't threaten Roohi with a divorce.

Bas ab yeh zabardasti ki shaadi does not turn Roohi into a la Farida, though she's already been shown negative...but imagine her plotting with her ever helpful bhabhi and bringing in a female Khizar to separate Wali and Fara.πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†

I can't hold it in anymore so lemme just talk about these bits from the promo!

This is the scene they teased us in the precap (I used the promo shots of it)

And this scene is from the promos, probably something that will happen later on.

Notice how both of them are at the same locations and evidently at different points. First is probably them meeting either before their nikaah or afterwards, either way it's them just after they got to meet each other. Farah is visibly scared and uncomfortable and Wali seems more relaxed and kind.

Then in the other way, the scene is very change. Farah seems more relaxed, her stance says as if she's been at this place for quite some time. And she is crying. Wali is down and he notices her from the balcony and it's like he's pulled towards her...the way he walks to her. When he reaches her, there's this evident concern on his face seeing Farah cry like that. A far cry different from the previous time they were here. Gaaah! I love it when we get two scenes happening at the same place but at different stages of a relationship. What has happened between the two scenes that Farah is crying so openly. And how Wali immediately starts walking towards her seeing her cry like that, never once taking his eyes off her. AARRGHH! I JUST NEED WAFA!!

I swear I am OBSESSED with these scenes and can NOT wait to know what they are all about. It's evident by this gif I made, immediately after the first 40 second promo was released (the one with the persian bit of the OST) It had this part at the end of it..
