Oh I have read Woh Mera Hai, I love short stories, It was pretty cute. A light hearted read. But for me, the best short stories are from Farhat Ishtiaq. I love her short stories! Kab Haath Mein Tera Haath Nahi and Kasam Toro Iqraar karein are my ultimate favourites.

Her book Badla Mere Humraaz Ka Rang has really nice short stories.

Suhaib aaj tumhari khaatir mujhe us aurat ka istaqbaal karna padega jis se main dunya mein sab se ziada nafrat karti hun. Yeh kis azmaish mein daal diya hai tumne mujhe. Main itni mazboot nahi, itni a'ala zarf nahi hun.

Suhaib aaj hota tou kitna khush hota. Uske paon zameen pe na tik rahay hotay. Kitna shoq tha usay tumhe idhar dekhne ka.

Woh Suhaib jaan gaya tha hum dono, samajh gaya tha hum dono ko. Usne socha yeh dono yun apni ana aur zidd se baaz nahi aeinge.. mujhe hi kuch karna padega. Chala gaya na hum dono ko chor ke akela. Aur kya mila hum dono ko? Tum bhi haar gaye, main bhi haar gaya. Yeh ana kisi ke kaam nahi ayi.

As far as I know there's no discussion thread. Actually, Aab e Hayat is being published in a digest episodically. So like you've to wait an entire month to read what happened next. That means that Umera Ahmed ends each episode on a cliffhanger and then I die waiting the whole month. That's why you know many readers are waiting for it to be published in book form so they won't have to wait or face any interruption. It has almost 14-15 episodes out of which seven have already been published. Like, 6-7 months more and AeH would be complete. Then it will be published as a book. And later, the English translation. So you will have to wait for a looongg time to read it. 😛
