I feel when either of them refers to being "friends"its more of a hi-hello thing when you meet up once in a while. Like I can say I'm friends with this person who I know from the internet, but in reality they aren't my real friends. Similarly Fawad's friend group comprises of his Lahore gang just like Mahira's is Feeha, Adnan etc. In fact I see more of an off-screen comfort between Mahira and Sherry/Mahira and Adeel than her with Fawad.

Adeel and Shehryar get along with nearly everyone.

@ bold: about Saba Qamar - ARY NEWS indirectly without ANY evidence whatsoever say that she's money laundering. Shahid Masood is the journalist/anchor who claimed this. So, what about that? Saba can go as far as suing these people for claiming such stuff if she wanted to..yet many people here believed it in a heartbeats because they simply wanted to. Saba Qamar even came out in the open and said to come check her bank accounts and passport...yet nothing ever happened. Allegations of money laundering which is a crime is much bigger than supposed "allegations" that a wife of a superstar had her apprehensions about her husband working with a wife facing marital troubles. I don't think the latter being proven by some sort of facts is really necessary.

This thread is a perfect example of how people pick and choose what they want to believe around here. Allegations/rumors/gossip are more or less all the same thing. And, if you're going to ask for the credibility of one thing, that lets for the credibility of everything. I mean why would Stardust out of all sources out there, unnecessarily "malign" Fawad-Mahira's relationship behind cameras?

Also, Shaan and Fawad always got along together. Fawad has invited Shaan to his son's birthday parties over the years. They only distanced themselves ever since Fawad went the bollywood way.

And I admit to believing the SQ money laundering news because Shahid Masood said so and in the past I've found what he says to be true but I read SQ's clarification later and changed my opinion. The SQ escort rumors were direct gossip only and were never printed. The money laundering was because a respected journalist like shahid masood claimed so. However in this case, this news has been printed on Stardust as "scoop" without the authors name even mentioned. They talk about the bin roye controversy with fawad and mahira's statemetns regararding it directly missing. Fawad cited to backing out of the film because of date clashes and health issues and Mahira has said as well that the project kept on getting delayed and Fawad had no choice but to leave. I'd like to know as well why now this was printed on an Indian magazine and not one for Pakistan? Is it because they're both making debuts and Indian media works on controversy/gossip/rumors, etc?

If Sadaf can be so insecure to nto let these two work together, why would she let them come in 2 interviews together?

Rumors of Fawad and Mahira not getting along have always been out there on every other Pakistani website over the years...but they were always rejected by Fawad-Mahira fans then too because it wasn't backed by credible sources. Once again, no difference than members posting gossip from their personal sources here, which many instantly tend to believe. It was only a matter of time that a leading magazine on either side of the border would talk about this also. Bollywood would obviously pick this up and make it news if given the chance. We don't have magazines like Stardust or Filmfare where such stuff can be published like Bollywood does. Instep/HIP/Dawn/Express etc don't exactly cater to gossip mongers..never have. It may or may not be because they're both working in Bollywood..but as I said, rumors of these two having some sort of issues have been around in Pakistan also...so Stardust hasn't just talked about this out of thin air for the first time ever.

And, I'm not saying Sadaf is indeed insecure..I'm being hypothetical based off what I've read and seen in regards to these two. Fawad could've had reservations about working with Mahira at one point in time for whatever reason, for all we know. And, an interview isn't as big of a deal as a film or tv show. As I said, no one knows what exactly is the deal between these two off camera..but only Fawad-Mahira fans claim that these two are great friends..other than that, rumors of them having issues have always been around.

I think if Sadaf has any problems with Fawad's heroines then she should have the biggest problem with Sonam Kapoor rather than Mahira for obvious reasons ofcourse.

True..but Sadaf seems to get along with Sonam. Sadaf though was present at most of Fawad's magazine shoots etc with Sonam in India...one being that Filmfare one which was somewhat intimate.

I only recall TVKahaani posting about that and a FB page mentioning Sadaf having issues with the Fawad and Mahira pairing which Faysal Manzoor who was then producing Mol denied and who is also friends with Sadaf. But if I may add something, I've noticed that in the past 2-3 months even Mahira who once used to answer questions about working with Fawad or not and offscreen/onscreen banter has stopped or avoids answering questions like that or questions generally that ask about Fawad. Maybe its because of the criticism she faces for talking about Fawad or maybe there's another issue at play here, not sure. It could also be the case of being more aware/conscious in terms of what she says to the media since she's been misquoted many many times previously.

It may just be because the possibility of working opposite Fawad isn't there anymore..at least not not for now. Fawad isn't taking up projects in Pakistan let alone projects that potentially would have Mahira in them.. Mahira's doing her own thing and Fawad's doing his. I think people are finally getting over that Humsafar hangover. Mahira is starring in a movie opposite SRK. I don't think there's room to discuss Fawad right now..They may speak of each other here and there because they both are currently working in Bollywood..but other than that, I don't really see the point of either one of them discussing the other because of a project they starred in nearly 5 years ago.
