Mahira Khan is indeed overrated.

Lets get this straight..so this indirectly means..that the normal person..the Pakistani viewer of today feels that Mahira Khan was the best when compared to the likes of Saba Qamar, Aamina Sheikh, Sania Saeed, & Savera Nadeem?

People complained about an actor like FAISAL QURESHI winning over Fawad Khan a few months ago for popular choice..and here, MAHIRA KHAN wins best actress for a show where she wasn't even the best when compared to all the other actors/actresses within the show. Don't get me wrong..I liked Shehr e Zaat and in the end Mahira was decent in my eyes (surprisingly but credit where its due) but she was horrible in the first half..and she literally improved her way up till the very end..and here, the awaam of Pakistan feels she was the best..😕

So, who really thought Mahira deserved this because apparently she won popular choice and unless this is just a facade for popular choice, then people actually voted their way for her. So if the common Pakistani viewer feels she's the most deserving when put up against the likes of Saba Qamar or Aamina Sheikh lets say..then I must finalize my conclusion..

Mahira Khan = most overrated Pakistani actress of today.

Good analysis. I'm just going to copy my answer from the other thread. 😳 Saba has come a long way to stand where she does today, she did deserve it. Aminah, Sania and Savera etc. have also come that way. A lot of us love Mahira, but she needs work, and improvement. 😳

this topic needs a special thread...Saba Qamar was leading till yesterday with nearly everyone mentioning her name as the best actress and yet..Mahira wins. It just doesn't make sense..I could slightly understand if Mahira was the clear winner from the word go, yet she wasn't.

Saba had a pure negative character..she was put up against a positive character, Aiman yet her role still stood out so well..because she was so good. Saba & Aamina's performances just made this whole tale of 2 sisters so popular there after.

Having a negative character and pulling it off so well to the extent everyone despised you while watching you..shows you're a good actor. With SeZ, everyone had their mixed reviews on Mahira's acting...weird.

She cries naturally for most of her shows..and it really does have such an impact.
