PTV's popularity grows...

Pakistan's official Television Network,PTV, that revamped itself in the year 2011 with a new look, and better line up of shows looks like a happy channel now . The channel has continously improved, and now when the year ends we have a different picture altogether.

The channel that has been lying low for quite some time now, and was only watched by a section of people(mostly in small towns), has so much more to offer now. At the year end, the channel has again entered the top 5 channels(yes, invluding Sattelite biggies). PTV's Anokha Ladla, that will have a sequel too, made it all happen. The serial was a major success and garnered PTV's highest ratings in recent year. The channel also has a long running horse in Khalida Ki Walida, that is one of the most watched soaps today.

The channel has also hit jackpot with having biggies like Saba Qamar and Resham in their dramas now; Payal is another such example. 2011 also saw changed on channel as it finally turned lenient towrds Big production houses like A&B, and 7TH sky, and we finally got to see some more excellent work on PTV.

Going by all this, looks like PTV will once again be the number 1 television network.
