According to Aman, she still maintains that she is disappointed with the song but she wants to make it clear that this does not imply that she does not like Padukone.
However, it could not be ascertained whether Padukone herself called Aman or if a staff member communicated to Aman about how upset she was to learn that Aman , the original heroine on which the song has been filmed, doesn't approve of the new version.
"I have not seen 'Dum Maaro Dum', so I cannot comment on (Padukone's) performance," Aman told DNA.
Aman is quick to add that that even though she has not seen her performance yet, she is sure that Padukone must have done a good job because she is a great performer.
"...But Deepika is gorgeous and I am sure (that) she has done a great job. I was personally disappointed with lyrics, but maybe they work in context of the film..," adds Aman.
