I feel they are trying to bring Abhigya type moments too quickly here, like Mohan lifting Radha, she gazing into his eyes which Shabir is not reciprocating one bit, might be Mohan's role does not allow it now but later he has to get romantic with her and God forbid, will we be able to tolerate it? At least, Mohan seems to have better chemistry with his dead wife, how long can they keep showing FL scenes and how long can they carry on the story with this father/daughter bonding, I fear in future the story will move on to the remake concept entirely with Mohan fading into the background. Yesterday's episode, even if Mohan is still in that aloof mood, in all the scenes between Mohan and Radha, there was no complete involvement of Shabir into his character at all like he is with Gungun and in the fight scenes. Mohan and Radha scenes seem very fake to me as of now
Curious to know whether they ever go into flashback of Mohan and Tulsi in the OG Tamil show. That's one thing that interests me and if it isn't coming up... . If Mohan fades into the bg... wont be good at all. Him, kid, and the fb bits are the only ones interesting for me as of now!
Maybe for writers is not so quick? Considering that RM already met when too young, not like many couples who meet when are adults and love starts there.
Will go for the typical nok jhok, where he's the one resisting and taking long to realize his feelings. For tv public that's like a magnet, doesn't matter how long it takes for a couple to unite,it's the journey and the moments they have ignoring villains&families existence.
Few observations:
In all remakes of same original Tamil show, it seems outright step mom got projected main villain of story and audience too knew about it very early, except male lead who blindly kept on trusting her motherly fake love and concern for him, till fag end.
Here RM makers are still hiding step mom nature as well as her motives from audience, may be they want to unveil it slowly as part of twists, otherwise its damn too predictable plot over used in many films and TV shows for decades.😃 May be they want to toss between evil or grey character for Kadambari, and will take decision based on audience reception to the show.
Even if we keep aside remakes for a while based on what's telecast in RM so far, feel Tulsi's Mom who got shown loud and cursed Mohan for her daughter's murder may slowly be shown melting and positive as she knows reasons and situations that have led to Tulsi leaving Mohan's house before her death, where as Kadambari may be slowly shown negative to audience, even if its kept unknown to Mohan for long.. But flash back scenes of Tulsi leaving Mohan's house do indicate, she might have tried hard telling him some truths about Kadambari & family or Damini & family which Mohan refused to believe causing big rift. Gungun's smart, outspoken and brave nature may be coming from her mother Tulsi, may be Mohan was more calm and vulnerable man in past?
Anyhow Tulsi didn't die in suicide or fire accident, its a brutal murder and Kadambai, Damini, her mother seem to know who is actually behind it, here Mohan is again clueless. Its surprising he didn't hire any private detective to know truth of death? when he himself got accused by Tulsi's family for murder and running around courts for years being innocent.👎🏼
Also feel Mohan's late grand parents left some properties / farm lands on his kids name as their heir. While Mohan craves only for his kids love, both sides need Gungun custody? so if Damini marries Mohan, anyhow Gungun custody also she may get?
Right now it sounds as if step mom Kadambari doesn't find her own children Rahul & Ketaki capable enough or business minded hence doesn't involve them in business,😛 may be she actually wants her own blood to enjoy luxuries of life without struggles and let Damini sweat it out and help run business. Also step mom must be knowing some of Damini's secrets and hence confident to control her even when she gets rights as Mohan's legal wife after marriage and access to Mohan's earnings. Also Damini is her choice for Mohan and she is thrusting her on Mohan forcefully who just treats her as friend and still can't get over dead wife Tulsi. It seems for the first time, Mohan went against Kadambari 8 years back and got married to college sweet heart Tulsi and she has held that grudge to disapprove Tulsi as her bahu till her death?
Yes, but here in the context of Shabir coming fresh from KKB after reigning supreme with Abhigya, will the nok joks and all work out between him and the FL with whom he seems to be emoting less than his usual even in context of this character role

Funny but possible and wont be surprised if it is so.
Perhaps Damini can strike a deal with Gungun - lets be friends and I'll make sure Mohan gets jailed (at least temporarily). Win win for both - unless D loves Mohan more than his properties.

That's the big minus,he's part of one of zee's most popular jodis which had no closure. Can repeat what Abhigya did, also what all the couples do in general-eyelocks,falling,picking up scenes but can't avoid being compared. Unfair for Shabir,he's great as Abhi, trying to create something else as Mohan but efforts should come from other sides too-script&costars.
