First of all, I know that mostly no one might agree with me. It's alright, but I'm in a good mood today. So I thought of posting this anyway.

And yes, today, I'm actually going to defend Khushi.

I saw some posts which called her gawaar and cringeworthy and so on...

But hasn't Khushi been OTT from the very beginning? And hello people? If Arnav didn't really like her OTT behaviour, he would have never fallen in love with her in the first place. He loves her because he loves her OTT drama to an extent. He doesn't get repulsed by it.

I actually enjoyed the entire episode. No, I didn't cringe. Why? Because such funny things do happen in real life. I live with an OTT person in my family and yes, it might get embarassing at times with such people, but it isn't cringeworthy. It's how certain people are and believe me, such people are lot of fun to hang out with. I don't think there is anything wrong if CVs portray her like that.

Isn't Khushi supposed to represent nautanki?

and No, being OTT does not equal to being Gawaar! There are so many educated rich people who still do a lot of nautanki and OTT drama. It's about a person's personality not about their status. Do not equate both.

secondly, I read many posts that said Khushi isn't behaving how a wife of ASR should behave. My question to them is why should a person change after marriage? Look at yourself, if you are a married woman or if you are unmarried, look at your married relatives. Do people actually change? Nope. If Khushi has been OTT and funny before marriage, she will continue to be after it too. Same way with ASR. They might modify a bit, but the blueprint is going to be the same.

Like I always say, I never want ASR to change after marriage and same way, I don't want Khushi to change either. They fell in love with each other accepting them as they were. If Khushi was not OTT khushi and Arnav was not the ruthless kadoos ASR, they would have never fallen in love with each other. Why can't you all understand this point?

I'm not up for full time comedy either. But they can't show intense drama daily also. That's part of a story. And I'm sure tomorrow's episode will be good.⭐️

Today there are many posts saying the way she behaved today was not khushi type at all..so let me remind you this is what khushi always was..she behaves this way with the people whom she is comfortable ..during initial phase of ipk there was a scene where khushi enacts a scene from sholay film to console payal..that too infront of creepwa..today what they shown was not that over the top compared to that scene..yes khushi never behaved like this with asr before... coz she was not comfortable with him..now equation is changed..now for her he is the one with whom she can be what she is...he gave her the consent during the date,'i like you the way you are..' remember??..

yeah, that's true. wasn't that OTT? If they really can't accept Khushi's antics, then I must say they are watching a wrong serial. CVs have stuck to her character very well. The problem with the forum members is they try to make both Arnav and Khushi as ideal people.

Why can't they accept them as they are and love them?

It was actually OTT dear...Khushi's antics was enjoyable till february...i have seen some of her acts 100 times because they used to go with the flow...

but during the swami track it was not enjoyable n todays also...it seemed a little unrequired...

It might be OTT but it's still enjoyable for me. Like the first person who commented said, don't you remember the sholay act which Khushi did in Gupta house in the beginning episodes? What was that then? It was also OTT.
