Can someone please stand by Khushi?

Isn't it amazing how everyone takes Khushi for granted? That idiotic mother of hers, the irritating buaji, the self obsessed sister and the oh-so-dashing-tall-dark-and-handsome hero! She is expected to live up to all their expectations with no thought of her expectations.

A sister who is so pitiable and self obsessed who can't see her sister's pain. Who despite having lived with her all her life, and, knowing her for who she is, and owing her happiness to Khushi has never ever taken the time or thought to figure what makes Khushi happy?A hyperventilating mother who has always been ready to lay the blame at Khushi's door for ills that's befallen them? Who didn't stop to think once why her daughter, who is willing to sacrifice her life and happiness for her family, would do something like this?A domineering bua who forced her to get engaged to a creep and set this whole thing off, with no care about what Khushi might want!And oh yes, the dashing Laad Governor who has played poor Khushi like a fiddle? Been nasty, vicious and derogatory, at the minimum, often enough, and when it behove him, turned the charm on cos he figured he was in love with her? And expected her to return the ardour when he pursued her. Led her on, and, then dropped her like the proverbial hot coal! Strung her along a rosy path only to sacrifice her happiness, love and dreams?People always pick on someone who is weaker or someone who they know will never retaliate and Khushi with her omnipresent need to be loved and needed, a strong sense of loyalty, can never say no.Is there really anyone that poor Khushi is unfortunate enough to have, who actually thinks about her and her dreams and expectations? The only person perhaps, who understands and empathises with her, is her poor babuji, who by a twist of fate is the only one who can't offer any solace and comfort to her!

I just hope to hell, that someone in either the Raizada or Gupta household has the decency to stand by her or stand up for her!

When does anyone every stand up to the lead girl in indian dramas? Umm I didnt find the mothers and buaji's reactions that mean actually. They ask nicely in a panic way whats going on. I see alot of ppl didnt like the slap khushi got from her mom but it was more like a reflex. She did do something HUGE. Khushi needs to stand up for herself. But she wont. I secretly hope that her buaji or her dad stand up to her. I think those two are the only ones with working brains in the gupta house. The others daft.

I think Babuji will recover in the coming weeks and reveal the face of snake to Arnav!

I agree entirely. Looking at Khushi remembering when Payal's wedding broke off the for the first time, and then thinking it was all in her hands this time made me realize how much Khushi was sacrificing in order to keep her sister and her entire family happy. And earlier, she had taken up working at the Raizada Mansion in order to earn money for her family. Over and over Khushi keeps sacrificing to protect her family, and her family does not seem to appreciate this at all. It kinda makes me sad to see how Khushi is treated.
