ASR/ Arnav

Caught the new promo. And the famous "hatred", "great love has to have great pain" is back with a vengeance!

Rishta wohi, looks like soch bhi wohi.🥱

I am all for bring on the intensity. But not a fake so called pankha, TRP led intensity.

An ASR, who leads a so called successful business house, who is able sense (even if he overcomes it and does not give in) complicated matters, including matters of the heart (case in poing the Shashi hospital scenes), who is able to decipher the actions of most people around him, that ASR, misunderstands so easily?

An Arnav whose heart is open to his family members, and now Khushi, an Arnav who has seen the innocent, naive, well meaning side of Khushi, mainly an Arnav who has seen Khushi's pain when her engagement broke of, that Arnav, misunderstands so easily?

Dont really expect logic or sense from a 27 minute showtime, but there is something called characterisation and continuity,

ASR/ Arnav can at best be angry with Khushi for hiding Shyam's truth, but if he is the ASR/ Arnav we have been shown for 8 months, then heck he HAS...to use his mind and heart to connect the dots and punish Shyam and not Khushi.

He has to be smart enough to identify the real culprit ...and not further hurt the victim Khushi

Sorry, Lalit, Gautam, but a fake marriage hatred track is lame, given the paths we have covered so far.

Give your own fictionally created character some merit! Give your own sensibility some merit

It can be a marriage where Arnav marries Khushi to protect her, but distances himself till he is able to forgive her earlier silence on the Shyam subject...But a hatred filled track ...nah...

The intelligent, sharp and mature ASR would not do that.

Neither would the sensitive, forgiving Arnav.

ASR is not a specimen...You meet them everywhere, in workplaces, in the form of strict, brooding men in your lives, in the form of steadfast friends

An ASR cannot afford to create a successful business empire...if he mistrusts and acts impulsively at the drop of a hat

Lets give him some credit for creating and maintaining a successful business...and for nurturing a close-knit Raizada household!

Actually, it's not against Arnav's character to misunderstand.

By character, he is impulsive, jumping to conclusions and getting angry easily. We also know that by nature, he doesn't trust people easily. Right now he's in love with Khushi, but if Shyam plays his cards correctly, Arnav will believe Shyam, not Khushi. Khushi was an outsider and up until recently he didn't buy her love and the world is beautiful POV.

The fact that he has just finally opened his heart to Khushi is exactly the reason why it is so easy and natural for him to mistrust her- this concept of LOVE is new territory to him, and quite frankly, a lil scary. Faced with Shyam's truth and his sister's happiness in jeopardy, he'l automatically put those walls up again to protect himself and his family.

i really dont want snakes plan to work because it will just break up everything ArHi ever had. if hi plan works hes gonna run anything. shyam is very selfish and greedy, he can do anything for khushi.

Interesting point.

I have a different take though

The ASR I understand is impulsive, but not immature, if he chooses to keep everone at arms length, its because he wants to. Not because he blindly mistrusts.

Case in point all the times he helped Khushi in the past, or the plainly obvious fact that he has never gone gaga over Shyam the way the rest of the Raizadas do.

ASR had a troubled past, and his answer to it is a defence mechanism...not mistrust.

ASR knows Khushi too much to get carried away with a one scene myopic vision

Of Course the creatives can easily make him do that as SP finally would want to produce this serial largely for the saas-bahu-TRP slot

I hope that too, and hope that Lalit, Gautam and Co give their own created character some credit.

Else whats the diffrence between ASR and the other cardboard heroes of tellyworld??

Glad to know you agree too.

You cannot build successful businesses and run households if your mental framework can be influenced so easily.

ASR would be out of business if he only mistrusts...see his interactions with his business associates...it speaks of class, arrogance oh yes...but not clueless ness

ANd I dont want him to be shown as a cluless loverboy when he needs his intellect, instinct and sensitivity the most

To guard the two most important women in his life😳
