She turned on the bed as she felt the light rays of the sun hit her square in the eyes. Giving up to the persistent light, she opened her eyes to look at the calendar on the table besides her. It read 26 December, 2011. New Years is around the corner. Her eyes moved downwards the table to the cupboard which held the paper. The paper that held the balance between nature. It was what would change her life in favor or not. I will tell him' when the time is right'

He looked at the watch in his room, telling him the time. It was 7:45 am on December 26, 2011. New Years is coming' He groaned internally as he thought about the event coming. Damnit. I need to get gifts' Now! What should I get them? Her? Everyone?!?!!? He closed his eyes in frustration as he felt the overwhelming feeling of a new year coming over him. Well better get at it'. Later..., he decided, pulling the covers up more to bury himself
