The next day the trio set out to the malls again on the pretext of getting some books that Reya wanted to read. When questioned they said that Reya really wanted to watch Harry Potter and it would be a great experience for her to read the books and then watch the movies. Anjali had looked at their retreating backs questioningly, ready to voice her suspicion when Khushi spoke.
"Oh ho Di forget them," Khushi said as she saw Di's questioningly look following the three, "Who knows what they are up to! Di, when is Arjun coming?" Khushi asked.
After the Shyam had been exposed, Di has given him a divorce, stating that she would not live with a two- timer. Everyone had supported her decision and Di had started to doing other work. She even came to AR on occasions! On one of those occasions, Di met Arjun her old best friend from kindergarten. It was surprising on how similar these two were and before the family knew it, they were seen together all the time. Finally Arjun maned up and proposed to Anjali after a lot of persuasion from Khushi. Now they were happily married.
Arjun worked in the fashion industry as Arnav did. This meant that they got along very well but it also meant that Arjun was not home all the time. He would have to be out and about on business trips. Recently he went to Japan and was due to come back soon since Anjali threw a fit about him not being there on New Years.
"He called up today and said he would be here by tonight. I hope that is true for his own sake," Anjali threatened.
"Well since everyone is gone, let's go have some tea and relax!" Payal suggested, earning herself a grin and a smile from both the ladies.

"It's been so long since we have been so comfortable and not busy! This feels really good," Khushi sighed as she drank her tea.
"I know what you mean! But you never know. With our luck, anything can happen!" Anjali complained.
As if Devi Maiyya had heard her then and there, the door bell rang. Giving the ladies a slight grin to show that she had meant what she had said minutes ago, Anjali got up to open the door. A young man of about 20 years ran in, walking straight into Khushi who had followed Anjali Di to the door.
"Oh I am sorry mam! Where is Arnav Sir?" the man inquired.
Khushi looked at him up and down, her eyes trying to figure the man out. He had just bumped into her and did not even show any signs of recognition of what he had done. His eyes kept roaming around the room as if he was looking for someone.
Who had he said? Arnav! The thought made her want to look at the man even more carefully. He did not seem sad to be meeting Arnav at such a early time during his holidays!
What!? I thought Arnav only had females running after him! Now I have to compete with men too!?!? What century is this people?! "Anjali Di right?" the man asked as he looked at Di continuing when she nodded, "I need to see Arnav sir right now! I am Aman his right hand man?"
"What!? Excuse you but I am pretty sure I am his right hand man! I mean woman! Oh you know what I mean!" Khushi flared.
"You must be Mrs. Raizada!" Aman said as he looked at Khushi like she was some kind of a specimen that he could not name.
No wonder Arnav sir is always so jumpy and scary these days. I would be scared if I had to live with that everyday too!
"Yes I am! Is that a problem!? If it is you know the door is right there! You can just give me the message you want to tell Arnav and I will tell him, " Khushi told him in her rage, " I am his wife you know," she said just in case the man needed some reminding of what the title Mrs. Raizada meant.
"Yes yes I know," Aman said getting impatient, "But I need to tell him personally!"
"Why so? Why can't you tell me?" Khushi asked curiously, her mind registering only one word the man had uttered,
personally. "Oh Khushi let it go nah. Here Aman have some tea with us!" Payal offered, pointing a couch to sit down on.
Aman took the tea and sat down on the couch. He stared at the tea as if it had chances of being poisoned.
Well who would blame the guy, thought Payal.
Khushi pretty much wanted to murder him and would do so if she had a chance too! She looked over at her sister who was sitting fuming as she glared at the poor man who was now timidly taking a sip of his tea.
What will I ever do with this girl!_____________________________________________________________________________
"Okay today we have to find something!" Arnav commanded as they walked back into the jewelry shop they had left yesterday.
"Well maybe if you don't criticize the things I offer you then we wouldn't be in this situation!" Reya complained. Suddenly they heard a shriek from her which caused both the men to run to her see where she was.
After the initial shock of someone picking her up, Reya was now laughing delighted since she was being twirled in the air. Her little hands were holding on to the man's arms as he securely held on to her waist while he twirled her. Finally when he got tired and Reya's mouth hurt from all of the laughing, the man brought her down to the ground.
"Fufa!" Reya exclaimed as she gave him a bear hug.
"Aww Reya! How are you? Did you miss me? No? Well I missed you!! Aw don't be mad. I am sorry I am late but I have got you a present!" Arjun said as he brought out a small package from his pocket.
"What is it?!" Reya asked in joy, grabbing the package out of his hand.
She tore the wrapping open to see what the present her Fufa had gotten her. Staring at the gift intently as she brought it out the box, she finally gave a huge smile. They were keys.
"Fufa is this what I think it for?" Reya asked cutely.
"Well you better go and find out!" Arjun responded watching as Reya ran out the store.
"Fufa I love it!! Oh my god! It is amazing!! I love it I love it I love it!!" Reya exclaimed in joy.
Both the brothers had been looking at the exchange warily, not sure if they should intervene. They watched intently as Reya jumped up in joy and ran outside only to come back, and hug Arjun.
"What did he get her?!" Arnav asked in utter shock.
"I don't know Bhai but whatever it was we should ask him for help since obviously he can please women," Akash responded in the same state.
"What!? No! We can't seem weak!" Arnav objected.
"Bhai! It's not weak to ask for help and even if we look weak..Well Bhai we kind of are weak! So let's just ask!" Akash argued.
"But!" Arnav said not wanting to give in.
"Aw boys! Don't worry I will help you! But for right now let's just go home and pretend we got some gifts for the ladies since we don't want to look like we have nothing," Arjun told them.
"Wait do you gifts for them?" Arnav asked cuirously.
"Why yes! You know you guys did have a year to get them," Arjun said, winking at them before walking out.

After waiting for a very long time for sir, Aman finally went home with Khushi slamming the door in his face. Since they did not have much to do after he had gone, they all decided to watch a movie. Payal really wanted to see Houseful since she loved Akshay so when the men came in, they were all watching that.
Seeing the ladies busy with their movie, the gang quickly rushed away to have a private meeting in Arnav's room since they had a huge crisis on their hands. It was now Dec. 29 and Arnav was still giftless while Akash had some gifts which were the least bit impressive. Arjun wouldn't tell them what he had since he didn't want everyone to know. Everyone discussed ideas for gifts and in their haste, they forgot to shut the door completely.
Downstairs, the ladies had seen their husbands walking upstairs quietly and were thrilled when from the corner of their eyes they saw that their husbands had bags and packets.
"They got the gifts!! Yes yes yes!" Khushi exclaimed and shut the tv off as she ran upstairs to hear their conversation.
"Khushi! Wait I am coming!" Payal called and she followed her sister who had stopped with a unreadable expression on her face after hearing the words being spoken by the men.
Payal leaned in to hear what they were talking about as well and she could feel her blood boiling.
They are pretending they have gifts?!!?!?!
Khushi on the other hand was conflicted.
He still does not have any gifts but he went for two days to look for them... And he is not even feeling well! Should I be mad or not? Why do you always do this to me Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada...?
