Why Did Khushi Not Back Answer?

No guys, I am not asking you I am going to tell you the reasoning behind it...

Before I do, may I once again applaud the connectivity of this wonder of Star Plus!!! It is like the 8^th wonder or something. Why I say this? Because in the midst of countless dramas losing steam and wrecking characterizations of main leads IPKKND has stuck to its core story so well. There are no slip ups and no useless talk. This is the first serial that I have come across in my 11 years with such a rock solid foundation.

Coming back to the topic of my post, Khushi's reaction in my mind was perfectly executed and justified. When Arnav said those painful words to Khushi about her realizing that her to-be-husband is not rich, Khushi did not say anything and walked off. Why? Here you go.

This is not some story where a boy saw girl and fell in love instantly. This is a bond created over time and there is trust and understanding between the 2 of them. Khushi understands Arnav completely and if you look back at the dhaba scene, she had told him that he stops thinking when he is angry so she has to use her brains. This is exactly what happened today.

That Arnav was upset was too evident. He himself told her that it matters to him that she is engaged and he did not know about it. He cuts up the flowers and his hand in the event. He does not let her touch him. He says a few insightful words, 'Koi cheez aankhon mein na dekhe iska matlab yeh nahi hai ke woh hai nahi.' She was sure that he was upset and when ASR is upset he flares and that he did. He saw that she was upset and yet chose to put her down further.

But Khushi knew better. She just heard him and walked off because she knew that if she stood there it would hurt him more and he might say a few more words that he might regret. Arnav felt bad and that showed in his pained eyes but he thinks this is the only way to make himself feel better. By saying that Khushi is a gold digger he tries to convince himself that she is just an ordinary girl dazzled by money but he realizes each time that he is wrong.

Hats off to Khushi for not letting himself hurt himself and for understanding him. Hats off to creatives for an amazing episode and brilliant connectivity. It is real delight to see this show!!!!

I am sorry but I disagree today! I felt the episode was a wash-up of many episodes past. I got a strong sense of deja-vu, same scenes, same dialogs and same unwanted interruptions preventing the characters from expressing their true feelings.

i understand the episode was a good one as a stand alone but when you take the bigger context of the story and how characters need to progress, i did not find any extension of their feelings beyond their current emotional stalemate.

Sorry to dissent but this episode was a dud for me.

Yes I also agree 100%... But tomo she speaks bak, cuz she wants him to understand, what his wrong decision has lead to...

It will always happen na? Some will enjoy it and be over the moon and the others will be disappointed. We are here to pick you up!!! I would recommend that you just be patient and see whats in store. We find the ongoing stuff odd bcoz stuff like that has not been shown before. But we will understand the bigger picture soon!!! Please be patient!! 😳
