Waise I think you should watch the whole series before assuming. Ruhi did move on and started supporting Abheera after her marriage. There were a good few episodes dedicated to show their sisterly love. They infact were sharing a single kachori - half half pyar badhne ke liye 😀. It’s only after it was revealed that Abheera is Ak’s daughter, did she start hating her again for being Ak’s daughter.

Legally it’s not kidnapping if the father himself gives the baby away. Even if the court takes on this dumb case, a good experienced lawyer can fight saying Ruhi was not capable of making any decision at the time of birth due to being in coma and after waking up, they were waiting for her to stabilize before giving the baby back to her. Of course this is morally wrong, but when it comes to legalities, attorneys can do anything and apparently we’re talking about the best ones in India according to the show lol.

Emotionally we can call Rohit and Armaan anything we want, but legally none of this has any value.

The baby is at home, and not kidnapped. Both the brothers are lying to their respective wives conveniently and playing with their emotions and hopefully the wives don’t forgive them easily once the truth comes out.

Don't think so unless the doctors declare her brain dead & incapable of taking a decision . Or not of a sane mind ..

Legally he can't do "anything " , Mr rohit the father , unless the adoption is legal . N in comatose patients I suppose they have to wait for a certain period of time

Lol, then Ruhi's lawyer can argue back that the poddar family thinks she is recovered enough to be celebrating Abhira's baby, then why isn't she considered recovered enough to take back her baby? Since Armaan and Rohit can lie and get away with a crime by manipulating legal technicalities, what they did isn't illegal? Based on your statement, seems like all criminals who managed to manipulate and escape from the justice system based on legal technicalities are no longer considered criminals.

And since I'm a doctor, I can give the medical perspective on this. For a lawyer to prove that Ruhi has no mental capacity to give consent as she was too ill, they need a statement from a doctor. And we can't state that a patient has no mental capacity when they are sick- we can only assess them when they recover or prove that there is little chance of recovery. In Ruhi's case, her pregnancy is unlikely to cause brain damage and cause permanent coma unless she suffers a cardiac arrest. Hence, how can a lawyer prove that Ruhi was too sick to make a decision? Unless they get a doctor to lie for them and that is still criminal behaviour.

Her being in coma should be enough, she can’t make any decisions while she’s in coma.

I don’t think they even thought of going the adoption route lol they just gave the baby to Abhira telling her it’s hers but if they did all the adoption stuff they can go to jail for lying on government documents. That’s a whole different thing lol.

Being in coma wouldn’t be sufficient enough? I thought coma is considered a prolong unconsciousness? And you can never tell how long it can take a patient to recover from it?

Nope coma can be considered prolonged unconsciousness if the word prolonged is used loosely. But it does not mean the same as vegetative state. Patients who are under anaesthesia are placed under a 'medical coma'. And prolonged does not mean years etc. It is at most weeks. When patients are unconscious for years, they are considered to be in a vegetative state. For a patient to be considered to be a permanent vegetative state, you need neuroimaging to prove that there is permanent damage to the brain and often they will need ventilator machines as they are unable to support their own breathing. When a patient is in coma, their mental capacity cannot be assessed. We have to wait for the patient to wake up. Even then, in terms of medical decisions, unless they have a legal proxy, the doctor is supposed to act in the best interest of the patient (despite any opinions from the family members).

That's why there r legal procedures to go about it no ? Ya in log ne "rohit arman penal code" Bana diya hai 🤣 they cannot change the identity of the baby

Aksharas case was different . She was divorced frm her husband when she gave birth ..still , she should've been transparent about the child's father..what's there to hide and why ? Legally she was also wrong & she was asked to reverse it

Attorneys can argue in favor of criminals doesn't mean the crime wasn't committed
