Atleast stick to facts yrrr, saying it wasn't a legal wrong itself is some other level of ignorance, my head is spinningggg round and round and round lol.

leave it, there is no point arguing, Even if they show it explicitly in the show, even if Supreme Court judge says it, phir bhi yahi argument chalega yahan because facts don’t matter only delusion does. There is a saying na - You can't wake a person who is pretending to be asleep.

“Armaan stole the baby” is the main concern. Armaan didn’t steal the baby. Rohit, biological father of the baby, gave his baby to Armaan. Stealing/kidnapping a baby is when you take away the baby away from their parents without their permission and parents file a police complaint and start looking for their child. So the word stealing and Bacha chor doesn’t really apply here and we can’t just use it for our convenience.

Him, along with his brother, lying to everyone in the family that the baby is Abhira’s and not Ruhi’s is wrong on so many levels and both the brothers should be held responsible for it.

Coming to Ruhi, if she started to hate Abhira after finding out that she’s Akshara’s daughter would somewhat tie it to the trauma she went through after losing her mother but Ruhi has been hating her way before that for obvious reasons and it’s just getting worse and no one knows if she’ll ever change after finding out that she was the one who was experimenting her driving skills and Akshara tried to stop the car but wasn’t able to do it in time.

Before this thread get locked let me put in my 2 cents.

Arman & rohit are criminals and they committed a crime , I wish there was harsher punishment for arman & rohit since they are lawyers and have complete knowledge of law . They're not ignorant beings .

I said this several times , arman is now at the same level as ruhi ..

Comparing their crime with ruhi won't make arman a saint ..is ring chori = bacha chori , taking away arman from his wedding = kidnapping baby ? cursing abhira is ruhis crime , hating abhira is a crime ; jealousy is a crime ...

If someone sees this as ruhis defense, please ! Ruhi can be called with whatever adjectives but now arman is also there & rohit too .. his crime is bigger than whatever ruhi did uptil now..the baby is helpless , and they're all adults doing whataboutery with sane mind ..crimes against kids are severe.

Did Ruhi give permission for Armaan to take the baby? Even after Ruhi woke up, why didn't Armaan ask permission from her? According to the law, what Rohit and Armaan did was kidnapping as both parents need to consent for adoption.

Exactly rohit alone can't give away his baby . Like arman can't decide on abortion on his own ..they kidnapped the baby from their mother

Thank you. That is the exact point of my post. If this post gets locked, it more than proves my point that criticism of Armaan is not being allowed. The hypocrisy of allowing posts and threads that can call Ruhi all sorts of names but locking threads where Armaan is being criticized and being called a kidnapper according to legal terms.

I never said what they did was right and that Ruhi as a mother doesn’t have any rights, of course she does. However, this doesn’t come under kidnapping since the biological father gave away his baby and is fully aware of the circumstances.

Yes, both parents need to consent on both ends but both the mothers are unaware of what their husbands are doing.

10. Ruhi can be called all sorts of names according to her wrong-doings but Armaan cannot be labelled as a kidnapper despite the legalities.

Before anyone calls me a Ruhi fan, I've already mentioned a hundred times that she is a villain and I am a casual viewer. There are so many hypocrisies in the treatment of Ruhi vs Armaan and I really wanted to point it out. Feel free to add on:

1. Abhir deserves to take revenge on Ruhi because Ruhi was one of the reasons his family had to separate and had to live alone with his parents. Let's cheer him on as he takes revenge on Ruhi. No one bothered to clarify that Akshara did not kill her mother, including Akshara herself. But yes, she is the most evil person for treating Abhira horribly. Armaan stole her baby. No she doesn't get to take revenge and the baby should stay with the best set of parents which includes Armaan.

2. Ruhi's trauma does not excuse her from the way she is behaving towards Abhira. She deserves to be jailed/killed. Yet, Armaan's trauma and sufferings at the hand of his family prior justify him stealing the baby. The best part is his trauma excuses him from not going to jail for his crime.

3. Ruhi is so evil for attempting to kidnap Armaan on his wedding day. She is the most evil person who deserves to suffer (the best part is she is portrayed as the villain in the show). But Armaan who stole the baby is so innocent (and he is the ML).

4. Ruhi is the worst wife for lusting after another man and hiding the truth from her husband regarding the kidnapping incident. Rohit should divorce and send her to jail. But Armaan is not a terrible husband for hiding the truth of the miscarriage from his wife and emotionally cheating her. Given that Abhira is bonding with the baby and will suffer more when the truth comes out later, Armaan is not a bad person and should help her move on. No Armaan, does not deserve to go to jail.

5. Ruhi is 30 years old and should be treated as an adult. She knows better and should not behave the way she is behaving. Armaan's is 30+ but is allowed to be easily manipulated by his brother. His brother is the sole culprit- how dare he brainwash innocent Armaan?

6. Ruhi deserves to be bashed for everything she does. But Armaan who took part in one of the biggest crime does not deserve to be bashed at all. Anyone who bashes him is a hater.

7. Ruhi is rightfully portrayed as a villain for her actions but Armaan is still the postive ML despite his actions. And his crime does not get emphasized but writers attempt to gloss over it by making Ruhi the villain more terrible. Yet Ruhi is the one who is whitewashed by the writers?

8. Ruhi is immoral for conducting an emotional affair with her brother-in-law when she was married. Rohit should divorce her ASAP. But No, Armaan is not wrong for conducting an emotional affair with his sister-in-law and he is the best husband. Abhira should never divorce him.

9. Ruhi’s commits vile acts one after the other- her character is being degraded. Armaan, after making mistakes and apologising (including leading Ruhi on at the start), proceeds to commit a crime knowing it would hurt and make Ruhi more vengeful and hate Abhira and him more- he is a flawed character who is growing and learning from his mistakes.

A father cannot give away a child without mother’s consent and vice-versa. Tho Armaan ka baby rakh lena and calling him as his own is chori/stealing/kidnapping, jo bhi term use kar lo, bhaat vahi hai, chori/stealing being applied for non living things hence kidnapping being the appropriate term for a living being 🤷‍♀️

Waise I think you should watch the whole series before assuming. Ruhi did move on and started supporting Abheera after her marriage. There were a good few episodes dedicated to show their sisterly love. They infact were sharing a single kachori - half half pyar badhne ke liye 😀. It’s only after it was revealed that Abheera is Ak’s daughter, did she start hating her again for being Ak’s daughter.

But the biological mother didn't agree to give away her baby? Since Ruhi doesn't know, it isn't considered as kidnapping? Interesting.
