Because she has apparently promised her late Pati that she'll not let the family break it seems!! She hugged and cried with Manoj and Manisha after the Vidya theatrics..

But no matter that she asked her grandchild to break the MS out of his wife's neck! And she manipulated the daughter in law to lie in court that led to their divorce.. that doesn't count as breaking the family..
