Akshu ke time pe it was not a high risk pregnancy, Kartik was just over protective bc she had a fall in her first trimester that could have ended up in miscarriage. He was too scarred from losing their first baby and missing out on her pregnancy with Kairav and his birth that he went overboard when it came to taking care of her.
