The thing though is.. this has been a constant with them! Remember. When Abhira came after the deal wedding also . It was terrible.. and then after deal reveal also Ruhi and everyone else was terrible..

I can anyday pick these characters over the ones who do all kaands but still do self victimization.

And both the actors playing Kv at S are good in acting as well as looks.

Exactly - they own up to every vile things they do & give very valid reasons that make sense from their POV. They may be regressive & awful, but like you said, have been the most consistent. Even Kaveri may not truly love Abhira, but knows that she is a good asset to have & her relationship with Armaan being smooth will benefit the family & the home

Armaan ke dialogues ko I pick & choose to keep, based on the situation. He did the same even when his brain was in hiatus for 3 months, where he insulted her in front of everyone, but actually felt bad only for creating ruckus in the office when Kaveri called him out.

As I have said before - writers will not hesitate to ruin Armaan like this from time to time to either move the plot or to make a point. Today's point was that if he showed even the slightest sympathy for Manoj, Manish's flip wouldn't be justifiable. She needed to lose it coz Armaan only defended Abhira without thinking of Manoj - that is the POV of the writers.

I still feel we may get a scene tomorrow where Armaan may try to apologise for getting carried away or Abhira will drill some sense into him that he went too far. Either way I know that the Armaan I connected with us still there, so I can hopefully continue to be his defender aage in the show as well

I know - it's normally Abhira bashing here & Armaan bashing there - the roles seem to have reversed today
