The kitchen sequence was a real nice scene of domesticity.. I have started compartmentalizing and not relating to the similar Auggy & Imlie scenes, because..

A. Wig thi tab..

B. Aise hi compare karte karte, na DDP kam hoga, na Surlie ko ship kar paaenge properly...

But honestly.. with the rasam scene, it was such gradual shift.. itna thehraav..

Yahan main apni story me rajdhaani ki speed se raw attraction dikhana chahti hun, aur show me Imlie Pighalne ke Pa tak nai pahuch paa rahi bhai.... How do I get inspired watching this...

The writers are just digging a deep deep hole itna slow-mo se, isske bahar kaise nikalenge.. As Sharada said, will they even have enough time to show the "falling in love" phase from Imlie's side.. I am doubting this majorly by each passing episode...

P.S - Everything said & done, hands down, the best show right now in terms of cinematography.. I watch other stuff, and realize what standards we have achieved via this, and hence always end up rewinding the previous episodes of Imlie, just for that.... Holi ka episode toh kya badia shoot kiya tha yaar.. Chandeliers and all in the backdrop, where they both are sitting on the floor, gathering the fallen gulaal.. Chef's kiss I mean...

Gul shows are known for their aesthetics and cinematography. I am a veteran since 2010 so I can vouch for it. She can get everything wrong but not direction and the aesthetics of a scene. How else can you explain a shabbily dressed couple create magic onscreen?

What do you think will be Imlie ka reaction to witnessing Surya Anjali together? Will they go ten steps backwards or a step ahead?

The pace of the progression is not giving me any comfort. At this time, I feel we need August babu to come in her dreams and tell her that he would die even without Surya ka involvement coz that was written in his destiny. If she continues holding Surya even mildly responsible for Agastya ka death, she can never fall for him or move on with him.

Yes, Surya is also a Kohinoor, just like August was. His one mistake does not define him, hope Imlie understands this.

@everyone, thanks for telling me about the daal wali rasam. I will ask my mom tomorrow LOL. We have always made the tomato water tamarind wali rasam only.

Ab toh jaise Joey ne uss book ko Freezer me rakh diya tha, so that he doesn't get to know the sad part, I feel like doing the same... shelving watching this show..

9 pm show had 30 mins episode on 17th of April. And 22 mins of episodes for 3 days after that. They had longer episodes the previous week as well.

Actually I have seen worse so this is not as bad in comparison. I don't know I have always read a book with sad endings only. Not sure it's the trope I attract

I don't understand why the writers are so bad yaar. Tum log toh professional writers bhi nai ho still giving a better love story for Surya Imlie

I have a friend working with Sitara.. checked with him..

He says, Imlie is a good show, and TV pe it's not having less telecast time, maybe on hotstar.. but that's cos they might trim certain elements.. Not sure..

he didn't confirm about it ending anytime soon as such.. Will let y'all know in case I get any other info..

Hmm possibly.. I seek happy endings ya as per tropes go.... I know that's being in a state of utopia, but then.. that's fiction for me.. must be comforting, and not giving DDP..

That is because Ghum and Imlie had integration episode that day and it was for 44 mins only. So that day they had longer episode and they timed it with the wedding sequence of the leads.


The 9pm show always had 22 mins episodes. I am watching it regularly and yes it feels as if something is happening in that day ka episode. Not like Imlie where the episode ends so quickly.

Also please lets be realistic. 1.3 rated show this is now. And not even a slot leader. Sabko pata hain it will go off air.
