Production house is not spending money. Today they got bulbul engagement done with the entire cast wearing their usual day clothes and the set also was undecorated. This is peak cost cutting. They don’t really want to spend unless it’s extremely necessary.

That's what I am noticing too. They have reduced the grandeur and grandness of the show. The show is missing the " larger than life " vibe which is necessary for an ITV show to work especially on star plus.

What do you think what could be the reason of this cost cutting and will we ever get back the OG vibes of the show back ?

Probably they realise there is no point in spending and making scenes grand right now because IPL is taking the attention so they are just making the story progress enough to keep the viewers watching.

bold : I am more frustrated because of these two especially bar singer reveal which really doesn't have any significance in Surya Imlie story. Reddys look very superficial and boring whenever they try to stir any drama. Na toh yeh traditional hai na conservative so why should they have problem with a girl being widow or bar singer . That's why the conflicts aren't working with trp audience. Reddys are just plain regressive who want to control the life of Imlie.

Mereko kapdon se chid mach rahi hai. I can't even enjoy their scenes anymore. It hurts my eye.

Dekho sab, bura matt maanna. I liked Surya's shirt. Yellow gives a glow to certain skin tones like no other colour does.

Gul has definitely cut down resources for this show. The writing team also don’t seem to be invested in imlie-surya love story at all. It’s coming across half-hearted. Too many misses from their side when it comes to giving imlie-surya scenes.
but Gul has not given any direction to her technical team on-set to slacken their quality of work, which is why the direction team, cinematography team and editing team and the cast are delivering their best with the limited resources. It may be cuz Gul has a reputation to keep up.

star plus Ghum show technical quality is so bad. Have seen too many episodes in s2.. imlie episodes even now looks good in that sense.
