He needs to stop caring so much about Ruhi ka kya hoga and running to be at her beck and call just coz somebody told him. Why cant he delegate ? And he needs to keep Abhira in the loop. How come he always keeps Ruhi in loop about where he stands with Abhira, of his whereabouts but never Abhira. How come he always abandons her without imforming every time she needs him. When she took responsibility of puja, he offered to help her but was missing when she actually needed him. He knew somebody attacked Abhira but he wasnt careful. When she has allowed him to help in Akshara bday matter, again he's gonna be missing.
Armaan is never going to stop caring for Ruhi. That's not who Armaan is. He as a character has this savior complex and he wants everyone to like him. So, he does what he thinks the other person wants him to do.
About keeping Abhira in loop, there is again a difference Ruhi asks and begs him for help, and to tell him about his relationship with Abhira, and Abhira does not.
He does most of the things to get people to like and love him because he never got unconditional love from his family.
Having said that a mature guy like him can help and support his SIL without hugging her.
