I stopped watching this show as well after the wedding episode. After hearing Kunal say that he wasn’t being himself those few days prior to the wedding, all the apologies and concern he had for Vandu seemed like a joke and manipulation.
I agree. The unspoken themes for this show are poor and they degrade women in more ways than one. I’m assuming it’s unintentional but it needs to be re-evaluated.
The writers keep taking away Vandu’s voice… her singing voice and her voice in standing up for herself in marital relationships. At one point we see her strong and grabbing Kuldeep by the collar but then once in relationships she becomes the passive wife and in-law with her eyes wide shut. Also, she’s yet to focus on her dream because the sacrifice she keeps making for these toxic relationships knocks her off course.
Therefore, the show degrades women through…
- Portraying women as rivals engaging in intense conflicts for a man's affection.
- Presenting women as objects of desire rather than individuals with their own aspirations and agency.
- Men using women solely for personal gain. Men exploiting women's emotions or manipulating them for their own benefit.
- Assigning women stereotypical roles. Reinforcing outdated and harmful gender norms.
- Contributes to normalizing disrespect and emotional abuse. Men are often seen demeaning or controlling women through anger and aggression.
Don’t worry vandu will take care of their second child as well because she’s a nanny of kunal’s children’s 😂😂😂😂😂 baaba is correct vandu is aaya now writers go hell with stupid stories shame on you guys what you guys are showing on TV 🤮🤮🤮🤮
