Yash hates brars for insulting him and making him feel small . Based on FBs given jasleen and brars did not stand by him when he needed it. What i don't get is why he didn't just let Angad go to jail but i think his motive was to win their trust and then betray it just like he faced. He was accepted as damaad but not for real. But why he was so power hungry that he didn't involve in his children's life- that i dunno.

Gary has never flipped. He's always cassanova, opportunistic. He lies and can pretend to change if it suits his needs. Thats why audience likes him. Coz consistent toh hai. And end mein punish bhi hoga.

quality matters over quantity. Gary may come for a short time but he has long lasting impact. makers have brought him back from "dead" because he is such an engaging character.
