How we'd see longingness or pain when he never was put in Sai's place throughout the show except recently for few weeks a month at best! Sai has to hear it till the longest time. Whereas the guy always had one woman with him on bed kabhi Sai toh kabhi Pakhi toh kabhi Shruti

When it came to pain he felt, there was no subtly at all, it was extreme..either he would go very agressive throwing disgusting looks like she is some piece of shiz or probably cry in the most horrendous manner... There was no thehrav in his, no earnestness at all on Virat's face.

God what has Sai become… Are creatives have some vendetta against Sai or what? The character which was realistically good till 800 episodes is turning out to be worse. Satya is thinking to propose her and he is going to get heart break and Virat ke kismat dekho guys all girls love this abuser. Everyone in CN is a hypocrite and will do and request anything of others to appease Virat. How typical of a desi family to bend over backwards to make sure their #1 beta is happy. Pakhi at least left on her own will, even though she was backed into a corner (not a fan of her character, but I give credit where credit is due).

I am positive that they degraded Sai's character on purpose so she can be on a similar moral ground as Virat so that their end reunion is more palatable. Because that was always the issue - Virat was morally dubious when it came to his treatment of Sai & Pakhi and Sai was not. It's the fact that Sai was on a moral high ground but they decided they needed to take her down a notch or two otherwise how would she ever take Virat back. It's ridiculous that they went this route to end the show/this generation though. It's still not palatable for me. It's even more misogynistic than their previous storylines.
