Normalization of emotional manipulation, gaslighting

I have to commend Ayeshas performance to make Sai look vulnerable and tragic rather than abominable like NB potrayed V. Although he was definitely written much more poorly than Sai.

But i find it really sad how characters like BK, Ash, P have all manipulated Sai without any regrets or accountability and Sai has succumbed to it.

Jab man kiya BK, Ash asked Sai to leave, suddenly they flip and want her back. Its ridiculous how they nevwr say out in front of V or the world about how they manipulate her.

Ash never told V that she asked Sai to move on. He let V think Sai was some sort of two timer even though at that point she wasn't and now despite seeing Satya she conveniently destroys Sai's Chance of a happy family with him by confusing and mamipulating her again

Yes Sai isnt stupid or a child to not have her own mind but these people definitely know the strings to pull with Sai.

I am very disappointed that Sai doesn't speak honestly with Satya first about her dilemmas before going "back" to an abuser like V .thats the least they could do to keep Sai's core intact. If she's chosen everyones happiness over her own then she owes Satya an explanation before doing anything.

Its ridiculous to see her pull a V. Deeply disturbing.

And the normalization of how people gaslight a woman, hold her accountable for everything, mamipulate her and she is letting that happen to herself is so upsetting, anger inducing.

Also WTF is the deal with the kids. Vinu seems completely unaffected by news of Vs farewell/transfer. How can V apply for a transfer without discussing what happens with both kids?! Is he gonna leave Vinu alone in CN, with Sai or take him? Does Savi factor in to this? Dont the kids count in his life?!

Its really sad how they are breaking Satyas heart. At least bring Girija back alive or whatever. Its not fair to him .

Deeply disturbed by the casual approach to an abusive partner like V being hailed as "love" and how they have converted a strong woman like Sai into a confused , and emotional mess who is cheating on a friend who stood by her when she most needed.

Keede padein in makers par or show band hojaaye yeh meri baddua hai. No one should be allowed to put up such crap in the name of content. Leap ke naam par bhi kuch regressive and toxic hi milega.

They are incapable of good plots. Period.

The majers writers, channel should all be ashamed. And honestly I am disappointed in actors. Ayesha has expressed that she's not happy with every plot change quite openly but still not categorically in that the content was problematic. I understand its tough to do that. But i hope she makes a few more soft statements at least to reinforce that she doesn't like such plots and makes a conscious decision to be part of better shows. As much as she needs to earn a living, theres some artistic integrity, quality that should be a consideration too.... I dunno if that requires more music videos, Ads, print and tv or modelling or theater etc etc. Obviously those dont pay as well or arent consistent but as audience I'd rather see her in something good than a show like ghkkpm again because its incredibly heartbreaking and frustrating to see this end result.

Totally agree with you. These guys are very regressive actually in old jamaana also people won't be like this. Sai is a married woman then how come these guys always bring her past love story. How can Ashwini ask her to stop and comeback. In their opinion mrg is just a game? Won't she think anything except her godu who is the whole and sole reason for all this. Really missed that Sai who always stood for her self-respect...

Sai a character that will end up being more hated than Patralekha and Virat because of what she did , after being loved immensely..

Lead pair cheating on their respective second spouses troupes isn't something new. It's happening on TV since ages but there's difference between those shows & this one is the treatment of the namesake ML of this show in terms of his proximity with the second spouse whether in terms of emotional or physical. I don't remember a single show watching till date where the guy has been soooo dedicated, honest, commited, loyal, devoted to an established antagonist after he's shown to be apparently in love with the FL so much that the guys breaks the FL time & again for the vamp! And her crimes were exposed openly. On top of it is the ambiguous expressions, acting & body language of the said actor in maximum scenes.

What will you do if and when Patralekha comes back? Will she say.. Sai we don't need you anymore ..my goud's obedient biwi, Vinu ki step mother, is back. .please leave this house at once.

Sai was consistently shown displaying emotions towards him especially post leap it was clear she's still having feelings for him whereas whether script or acting or he's been told it not only looked like he's over Sai but drawing towards P or falling for her.
