The fact of the matter is Akshay is unreliable and two faced. Contrary to the perception he is not very liked by RW. He is a lefty at heart pretending to be RW for his own selfish reasons...going by the trailer, he has already made prithviraj a subject of ridicule with his caricaturish portrayal. The left bigots are gonna have a field day name-calling and making memes of prithviraj the way they did with rani laxmibai, padmavati etc.

His intentions for making the movie on such a great king are pretty questionable. Bhansali is done n dusted so this one has now come out implementing his strategy undermining Indian kings and struggles to bollywood songs and dances only. Tho the only positive comes out from making such movies is, it gets people talking about real history. I don't remember what I read about prithviraj but I will definitely start looking to read and know much much more about him now.

last four bhansali movies have been big successes and he is done and dusted 🤣
