This will be their second disaster after Jayeshbai which was only a few weeks ago, but you don’t become one of the biggest production houses in Hindi cinema and not survive a couple of disasters. Ultimately both Akshay (he might have to reevaluate some things) and YRF will be fine long term but Akshay will feel this loss more in terms of immediate future demands and marketability of his next 2-3 projects IMHO.

OT, I agree with the predictions except even 9cr seems high for opening day. But I don’t analyze numbers the way you do Bobby so I’ll go with your numbers 😃.

People say that movie brought audience back to theatres after the pandemic. 😆

Ideally 45 crores should be 2 days total but even if collects 45 Crores in 3 days, that will be decent.

Trailer was average, music didn't work either.

Dang I actually forgot about Sooryavanshi 😆. I was thinking Bell Bottoms, Bachchan Pandey, and now this one.

You're right. I was thinking about how Bachchan Pandey had Holi advantage (which works like a half national holiday) while Prithviraj is a non-holiday, but I didn't factor in that Kashmir Files did 19 cr nett on that same day, which is insane competition!
