There are enough people here who adore to write the word "flop" for a movie... even before the respective movie releases

Thamma hasn't recovered the budget yet through the Indian net boxoffice... yet it is still in theatres... and anyways... some production houses now refer to worldwide gross collections to showcase the success of a movie

And as was expected thamma has been declared a successful venture

Nowadays why is everyone is so obsessed with these hit or flop tags ?? Are they going to give us money if the movie is a hit ? Are they going to charge us money if it's a flop ? Why should we care over and above whether we enjoyed the movie or not... We have nothing nothing to win or loss.

It gets tiresome after a point.

Ooo, I'd love to be a part of that thread. I actually just came back from watching Thamma in theatres and I really liked it. I might change my mind after rewatching all the other Maddock films to compare, but I think this might be my favourite after the Stree film. I still think Bhediya had the best graphics, but this had better jokes and, surprisingly, my favourite love story of the bunch. (Absolutely adding this to my list of "centuries-old baddies and the dorks that immediately fell ass-backwards in love with them.")

Also, I just have to share that my theatre cheered louder for Jana's cameo than Bhaskar's, but that's probably just cuz that cameo had already been spoiled.
