@Bold - That they can't condemn religious bigotry in the KP exodus case. And you see it's not limited to BW alone. Cricketer Suresh Raina, who is a KP himself, is being abused and trolled for endorsing TKF and not a single teammate is standing up for him like they did for Shami. The duplicity is obvious.

It happened 30+ years ago. How do you know if they condemned it at that time or no?

I couldn’t go yesterday because we had a winter storm and a blizzard here. Today also it seems I cannot go because all the shows are running houseful, unless I want to take the front row seats. May be sometime during the next week evenings, let’s see.

Reading the first hand accounts of KPs after they’ve watched TKF and what they went through is heartbreaking. I’m not KP but anyone that has family that experienced partition will tell you stories that have parallels, so I really empathise. Happy to see the growth of this movie, KPs really deserve to have their story told. Screw those who tell you let bygones be bygones/ho gaya move on now etc. Jis par guzarti hai, wohi jaane. Hoping to watch this soon and hope it goes from strength to strength - especially seeing as Bollywood cares two shits about this movie.

uhh you do realise that there are interviews and quotes and pictures available on the internet,right?like you would find pictures of BW people standing up for Sanjay Dutt,you would find the likes of Mahesh bhatt trying to prove that 26/11 was an RSS job but you won't find anyone talking about KPs or bengali or sindhi hindus;you can search for all these on the internet.It is not used only for trouble making and shitposting on threads like these.

Earlier too you asked how one can know if what this movie shows is truth and not propaganda and I commented that one can search for newspaper articles or videos using relevant keywords,hashtags.Did you try finding out the truth or is all of your energy reserved for asking questions here?

Well i can answer if anyone from Bollywood gives a fck or not because me and my dad have been avid Bollywood fans, i lived breathed Bollywood and i a kp too but i haven't seen one mainstream actor condemning anything. I asked my dad and others too.

And you know i don't expect people to talk about it because for whatever reasons we weren't important.

I read ur earlier post and wanted to say something..but m always at loss of words while consoling someone..hope u heal and overcome the pain..hope we get to see peaceful and prosperous Kashmir soon
