Yep I agree completely with these things .. Sid has mentioned n discussed about Mithai's education on several occasions.. But if the makers themselves doesn't focus on Mithai's educational track tahole Sid r ki korbe 😐 It seems makers has no interest to educate Mithai.. And her English pronunciation - Sid keeps correcting her every now n then (except when he uses it casually) but instead of learning Mithai taunts Sid about his laatsahebi 🙄

Remember that restaurant scene with Parvati Aunty n Gulti?? Mithai was taunting Sid for using sanitizer until Parvati Aunty herself said it's a good habit, then she shut up.. Mithai er ei character traits gulo amar ekdom bhalo lagena.. Ei jonno to ami barbar bolchi Mithai er kono character development hoyni.. Makers ra jotota care niye Sid er character development koreche tar 0.5℅ o hoyni in Mithai's case..

And about Omi Agarwal, this business rivalry track was bound to happen sonner or later.. Ageo hoyeche with Aditya when he was introduced as the villain in the beginning, but he's busy with other shows so makers has to bring in Omi to fill in Aditya's place.. And this Omi actor is popular than Aditya.. So let's see how things turns out..

I fully agree with you in that Sid's character development has been the most nuanced in this show and like you said it was also the most necessary given what he was before

Also as you said the changes have been shown quite beautifully over time so it makes a lot of sense...❤️

But I also kind of understand where @LoveAnny is coming from - in that there will be a problem if they show him to be too much of the typical aloo-bhathe ML. The Siddharth Modak does not need to be the same self-centered jerk that he was before...but at the same time if he does not maintain that certain edge then many people might be turned off. 😵

One thing which I feel makers have still not properly shown though is Sid confronting Tess for all her misdeeds. Han onek kotha suniyeche and he has put up boundaries as well...but never confronted her in a manner befitting her misdeeds. And this is the same guy who has broken a glass twice in anger in front of Mithai. Of course, he should not be violent but that is the level of confrontation towards Tess that I expect at least once 😡

Regarding Mithai's character - well you have said all there is to say on that. She has become this magical tinkerbell type of character flying in to either save everybody at all times or flying after her peter pan hoping for his attention ... Sheyi eki helep bola kimba dadu r naatir nokol kora is also getting very old these days. I read some interesting discussion under Sidhaifcx's post on yesterday's episode on this exact same thing actually. The commenter was expressing her frustration about how quickly Mithai bounced back from her mother's death...I definitely agreed with some of what she said 🤔

@Blue - Agree, these are few things I wanna complain about too.. But the thing is it's not Sid's problem, it is the problem with the makers.. They made Sid react extreme with Mithai but when it comes to Tess, she gets free pass 🙄 But I guess the major confrontation is left like many unfinished plots.. Sid didn't confront her for the fire incident too coz Som was involved.. Actually Som's identity revelation will change many thing n like you said Zee B thinks Mithai as a lambi race ka ghoda, so they are taking things slow..

Two points about today's episode + precap that I liked -

1) When Sid chastised Mithai - "eto lojja pawar moton ki bola hoyeche?" These subtle checks are necessary because Mithai keeps building up these expectations in her mind and then when something happens to negate those dreams she is crushed. Mithai needs to understand je kaoke bhalobasha mane ei noye je sarakhon prem er sagar e habu dubu khete hobe ...so I am glad Sid brought up that point today

2) Som is being featured quite prominently in this whole Mishti hub/Moira disappearing business so I think his involvement is going to lead to something later on. Based on the precap it might be Mithai and Som going with Rudra and Dhara to track the Moiras. They might find something about the Agarwals being involved which they will not divulge immediately to Sid and the rest of the Modaks. Or Tess might later use the fact that they went together to instigate Som in some way.

I might be making a mountain out of molehill in this case but Som's prominent involvement in this matter is making me wonder. I am glad that creatives are finally addressing the Mithai-Som equation because later on (when Som's parent truth is revealed etc) I think it will play out significantly in some way. 👍🏼

Ghee shakkar dilam 😅 Let them take things slow. I'm an ardent lover of slow burn romance. Do you think Som and Tash buri's involvement will be revealed? I doubt so. They are busy showing Som as another dutiful Modak son. I won't be surprised if we get to see Tess and Som's love story 😆 Creative team already have us a hint 😉

Was there any romantic moment or anything? Everyone's being quite hyper about today's episode 😆

About the precap, I don't think only Mithai n Som will be going, though I'm not sure coz it's only a short clip but Sid isn't someone who would sit back or be somewhere else during this crisis.. Coz in past whenever there was a crisis, Sid with Rudy took all the responsibilities be it when Nipa went missing, PCG party, fire case etc.

But I agree with Som's involvement part.. This can either be very good coz Som can figure out about Agarwal's conspiracy coz he had worked with them in the past .. This way makers might wanna redeem his past deeds n even start working on Som - Somoresh relationship too along with Mithai - Som.. That way Som won't be misunderstood when Joyeeta's truth comes out n probably Somoresh will accept him too like Mithai..

Yet to watch the epi. Cant comment. But Som's involvement in the case might help in opening another area-- Som-Tess tashan. In one of prev episode, Tess warned Som in getting involved in Modak business, now Som wasting time in this Mishti-Hub issue might create rift between them.

I love how I am speculating all this on the basis of a 14 second clip that too which is cut off in the middle 🤣 Most probably none of this will happen but one can still "dirim" about a nuanced storyline 😛

@bold - Han I agree most probably, in the end it will be Sid and Mithai to the rescue yet again... but I was wondering because of the way Sid reacted to Mithai going and Dadai stopping him in the precap. Maybe just maybe he will have to stay back to take care of Dadai because he is sick 🤓

@pink - I honestly want Som and Mithai to get closer just so that it becomes another irritant for Tess. My main source of pleasure these days is seeing her out of her sorts. 😈🤣

Btw Mithai completely forgot her mother 👏No mention of her or anything. That track only brought another shade of Sid's character. No maturity in Mithai.
