Virat disappoints me everyday - Page 5

I despise Virat’s character now. He has betrayed his duty towards his profession, his country in the name of a promise made to his friend. I’m sure the friend was more dearer than his wife and child, yet he shot him in the name of “farz”. What happened now? Twisting the “farz” as per liking n convenience? But his arrogance and confidence that he has done a noble act, and he is mahaan and self sacrificing is what makes me dislike him at this point. And the fact that others will repent when they know the truth! Sicko!!

I don’t know why I feel they will bring in the Ninad track now, where he will fall ill. Either it will happen now which will stop Sai from leaving CN or after she leaves bringing the entire blame of Ninad’s illness on her.🤦‍♀️

Ya i think the worst part of this track more than virats errors n ridiculous behavior is the treatment of yhis track where makers and virat himself seem convinced that bechaara had no other alternative, hes so mahaan, despite getting all these brickbats n insults and distrust, hes so concerned about his family. He still cares n loves Sai n his family. I find this lens of theirs so problematic. Its one thing to show people screw up. But its another to justify wrong behavior in this manner. This track would still be tolerable and we might have connected with Virat if he atleast looked a little guilty instead of this pompous attitude of self righteousness and self victimization going on. At least if he acknowledged atleast to himself that - i know i am messing up but this is like quicksand and I dont know how to fix things- I'd say-accha thik hai-genuinely thoda toh bechaara hai. He doesn't even have awareness ki he is at fault. His attitude is ki- maine toh kuch nahi kiya hai. Meri koi galti hai hi nahi. This false sense of mahaanta, righteousness that he is giving himself is very very off-putting.

The other issue is - i really dont see any actions of Virat that show his "love" anymore. I only see pity. Sai brought so many nuances. See her reaction, her eyes when he tends to her finger cut or talks about dying in the mission- there is love in those eyes. Whereas when Virat is tending to the cut, I see it as pity, not love. The only part where he genuinely showed some emotion was when he implores her to look around the room at their memories. But the thing is , if you dont sustain an emotion it falls flat.

The last scene of Virat that genuinely had love in his eyes was the padwa scene. It was not really a full on romantic scene. It was lighthearted banter, flirting, mischief. But it had a husband-wife intimacy to it. And virat was excellent in it. He was also excellent in the pre mission hug scene. But Its no big deal for him at this stage in his career to look "in love" and happy in these kind of scenes. The challenge lies in showing his love even when he is angry or when he is hurt etc...Sai does that beautifully. Even when angry, her eyes show the love..

He had a phase pre Sai accident also where he had the same issues in terms of acting- he just couldn't show love in his eyes when him-Sai were in the post anniversary standoff.

I was hoping that this time round he would show his love but he is letting down again.

Bold: I have a different opinion on this especially on Neil's acting..As if He was doing some ratta maro or so much in rush to catch the train..I just couldn't feel any emotions 👎🏼

He had many chances to up his game today but he fell flat in most of the scenes.. Those shocked expressions every time looked out of the place 👎🏼..

However he was only little on point when Sai got hurt but yet again Ayesha took over scene..

I try to watch it just like a normal audience since I have very little knowledge on it.. But Neil is thoroughly disappointed.. He was however doing well in the beginning of this track but gradually he is getting worse each day..

I think it's the actor and not script.

Even if you remember post the anniversary track and locking up drama,virat should have been able to portray his love and affection through his indifferent behavior ,instead you could see disgust on his face like he hates her so much.Even the monologues couldn't help it.

Similarly post accident in the hospital all his actions looked out of pity and prove himself and his ego that he is a good guy,even though there should have been love .

And now even in this nonsense track ,even though his behavior is ridiculous ,but there should have been love in his eyes for sai ,which Ayesha showed yesterday but he could not portray it.Instead it looked like pity and in some situations the emotions were off.

It's like the actor is confused what is the scene all about and how he should portray it?

But if you see his scenes with Shruti ,you can see those lovey dovey and soft looks, instead that should have been genuine and out of pity.But it's like he is enjoying with them.

I don't think the script writers want to portray pity emotions , obviously they wanna show love .But sadly the actor sucks at it.

Tbh he is an eye sore,the only I watch his scenes is because it's with Sài.

Other wise he is getting pathetic day by day.

I wish he could see himself on screen and understand that how pathetic his acting is getting and start taking his job seriously.

Hmm. Ayesha definitely outshone him in terms of the dialogues given to her and also performance. But in virats dialogue, I found that one part where he says- how can you break the relationship so easily n then points out little things to get nostalgic about their journey to be poignant.... because it feels like he will follow it up with something super emotional about how much all this means to him and her and how he can't imagine life without her etc.... unfortunately he does not go there....

I like that his instinctive reaction is to rush mid conversation to look at her injured finger but then again it was ruined by poor emotions. He had pity not love.

worst part is virat giving all lovey dovey laugh to shruthi and toxic and irritating look to sai, I am not sure if it is director actually making virat do all that or if it is neil doing it unknowingly, the equation itself is changing here we get the vibe of husband and wife with shruthi than with sai, If it is director oking it , what does he want to tell how nice their pair is , or if it is neil doing it what is the director doing how can he ok such scenes ?

Unless they bring in someone new besides sai this crap is sure to go to garbage.

I would put this blame on the direction and whoever okays it in the channel.

He is not exactly a bad actor, sure he misses, but isn't that's precisely the job of the director to get correct expressions from the actor? Neil is a known actor but I don't believe he has such influence that this is okayed on his part.

And surely the channel knew the backlash this track would receive considering its a remake. They had the story ready, all they had to do was redo the bad parts. So couldn't they have stressed to do it differently.. with more sensibility?

This to me feels like complacency on part of everyone calling shots. They have a stable position in TRP which is okay for them and so they don't feel the need to pay heed to audiences reaction. 🤔

Precisely for this reason they have not cleared exactly what sort of ideology Sada-Shruti follow. They have not called him Naxalite/Maoist etc. He is just portrayed as some petty criminal distressed with administration. Because if they do, someone will definitely file a complaint against the show.

From what I understood the team has a brillant crew and actors ....they are lazy too the core....when balika vadhu2 arrived there was not any fault in direction and editing by the team...when sirf tum arrived they even though about stopping early release of episode...but the rival show didn't gain trp as they expected...if a good competition arrive then only we can get a technically good episode....I found ghum as a show where team doesn't want a huge jump in trp in a week...they only want to maintain current trp and remain as slot leader....the only reason why they don't show confession or introduce new male lead...then scope to carry story forward is less with consistent trp...if we consider kd after they have copied major tracks except badshah death...since show has good trp they won't make fl pregnant...when shruti track end they may come up with new track similar to friendship track
