Yes, his intentions at the time of marriage was honest but he has failed to fulfill the promises made to both Kamal and the villagers.

@bold exactly my problem. Also, it is not like he wants to concentrate on his career. He did it only because he because he is not able to stay with Sai, because she is unable to understand his feelings for her. Had Sai said that she had got his transfer cancelled because she doesn’t want him to go, he would have stayed back happily. So, the reason was not because he wanted to focus on his career.

You are welcome to share your views. I have always tried to read other’s POV too. As much posts that I have written for Sai, I have written for Virat too. I support/criticise the characters based on their actions. Have always tried to understand both the characters.

Thnx for replying so politely Laksh inspite of having different opinion which is rare on this forum.

@bold: yes I do agree that had Sai said she wanted him to stay he wud hv stayed back happily. If he chose to leave the city so that he has a peaceful life as well then who is anyone to stop him? If his mom didnt then Sai had no rights other than as a wife (if she thought she was which apparently she wasn't). Sai blowing hot and cold is what irritates me. She either shud behave like a deal wali wife or a real wife. Why did she interfere in his transfer if she was a deal wali wife. She shud hv just taken a transfer herself and left Nagpur or shifted to the hostel. Why poke ur nose into everything.

And one more thing I didn't like is Sai telling the DIG that he had mental issues. That is very wrong in a profession like his. She telling he was sick and down with fever was ok but mental issues was very wrong.

Yes I agree they were married too.soon after KJs death. However blaming Virat for the marriage is also wrong. He didn't force her to marry him

He told meri tarafse hanan hai. She shud hv said No. From my perspective she is equally responsible for this marriage as him. And when I said ample I meant even later post marriage she had lotsa opportunities to leave that she didn't take up..

Surely Virat should not be blamed entirely for the marriage.. I dont hold her responsible for saying yes though, she did not say anything at all.. I know how it feels like when you have no one and then you are also treated as a burden who has to be married off as soon as possible within days of parent's death...So I dont think she was in a state to say a no or a yes..

Even I think she should have left after the mirchi kind and not given into Virat's manipulation...

I was brought back to reality or should I say that we were shown that there has been absolutely no change in the Chavans or their attitude towards Sai in the past few weeks. I am not sure if I should be happy about it or not but one good thing is it doesn’t look like they have been whitewashed but they all stayed true to their characters atleast.

If this is the reality, when Virat can see how much maan and sammaan his family has been giving to Sai, he decided to take a transfer and leave Sai with this bunch of people who taunt her, insult her and humiliate her?

Even after Virat has been watching how they keep taunting Sai in her presence or in her absence, how biased they, how much hatred they have for Sai, he is upset that his transfer got cancelled?

I really want to know how did he apply for his transfer in first place. Didn’t he take Sai’s responsibility and is this how he will fulfill it? I know that he has failed many times in the past too but I do not agree that the transfer was a well needed one for their problems to end. Leaving Sai with such people and him going away for his peace, to cool down, for their relationship to get a break doesn’t seem the right thing to do. Is it all about him and the relationship? If he needs a break, the girl also needs a break from the Chavan family. If he is hurt and he needs to stay away from Sai, doesn’t he have so much maturity to handle in a way that one should be by staying indifferent, by talking less with Sai, by avoiding confrontation or arguments with her staying in the same house? Why is his transfer necessary for him to cool down or from him to take a break? Can’t the same be handled graciously?

Hasn’t Sai been living in this house after everything she has been put through? His advice is not applicable to him when he said that she should take this as a challenge and win the love of his family members? Why couldn’t he win the love of Sai? Why couldn’t he stay back and win over his hurt or anger? Why couldn’t he stay back and act like a human even his feelings aren’t getting reciprocated? They all act inhuman with Sai, so much that they were getting pleasure looking at the girl’s burnt hands while grinding chilly and because she was getting late unable to attend her college and he expected that she wins the heart of such people but he cannot win the heart of a woman who speaks bitter, who has a harsh exterior but whose intentions has always been right and good, who is so compassionate?

I have really never appreciated marriage and especially this deal marriage as a solution that Virat gave for Sai’s issues at GC too. In this whole thing, the girl is in his house not for her act like his lover or his wife. That was not in picture at all in first place. He has had a change of heart doesn’t mean she needs to too. The only truth that remains is the word that he gave to the villagers that he will take the responsibility of his daughter, the waada that he gave to his mentor that he will take care or protect his daughter.

And that itself is getting lost by Virat not thinking before applying for transfer leaving her with a family who never leaves a chance to taunt or humiliate Sai. How did Virat even think that it is right for him to leave without once thinking about Sai’s state? I am totally against his transfer and it being a solution for their problem. If the girl should stay back without moving to hostel despite the family being so venomous, he should be staying back protecting her, fulfilling his responsibility even if she doesn’t reciprocate his feelings. If he had got this transfer from his department and not by him applying for it, it is understandable that it is his work and duty, not when he himself applies for it.

Virat gets hurt and wants to move away since he is not able to handle it it, bear it but doesn’t think even once how hurt Sai will be listening to so many people’s taunts snd bitter words? If he thinks he is doing it for Sai, that is ridiculous. How did he even think that she will be okay with such people who spit venom on Sai and torture her day in and out? How did he think that his ex wouldn’t harass Sai? Hasn’t he been been noticing how she keeps attacking Sai all the time? He seems to be least interested about Sai’s protection, forget love or respect. The whole purpose of Sai’s responsibility and her protection for which he put her through his kind of marriage is lost. Why was the girl made to get into a deal marriage if he cannot even fulfill his promise? He himself couldn’t give her a peaceful environment, forget the family. He has been spitting venom on her, has been judging her, putting her down, taunting her, abusing her and harassing her. All that Kamal sir saw was one side of this man and he made a mistake of handing over his daughter’s responsibility to this guy. Virat says that Sai doesn’t deserve the love of her father, he is the one who doesn’t deserve Sai’s or her father’s love. He is such a selfish, self centred man who just cannot think beyond himself. He shouldn’t be using words like pakki zabaan, farz. He had long back failed his mentor and is still failing even after Sai gave him a chance after his behaviour during the Ajinkya’s issue.

Just my views. Anyway, I don’t accept or agree that him going on transfer was/is the right thing to do. I wish Sai had left this house the day the chilly kaand happened. Why is there so much of difference in expectations? She has to tolerate the torture but he needs a break from all these issues?

I agree with most of what you say .., many times parents make a mistake of handing their daughter son to the wrong partner .. I can say the same for Mansi Bua getting a bad spouse for her son and forcing him to stay in this marriage when she sees clearly .. that this girl is doing natak and has cheated on her son for one whole year ..

Kamal Sir has been brought in the conversation so many times .. I wish Sai tells everyone clearly.. that I wish my father had not taken that bullet .. my life would not have been ruined like this .. I wish my father had been more selfish like you people .. then maybe he would have been living .. I wish I can change the clock back

@bold: Exactly my thoughts! Returning after the Ajinkya khaand and then again accusing Virat of two timing her was a bit too much for me.

@bold: Sai can say that but Virat hadn't asked KJ to take the bullet. So by saying this what Sai can do is make Virat guilty.

That's true he shudnt hv taken the bullet - Sai cud hv lived with her father happily ever after!! Life wud hv been much easier I suppose!😂

I cant go on and on about two timing part honestly we are unnecessarily getting it here, since I was talking about some other time.. talking about mirchi Kaand ..He normalised the abusive behaviour done by his family members and emotionally manipulated her then, she should have surely left...

that is a practical aspect of it, but when someone loses their own , saving someone else, the emotional mind , the irrational one always thinks the other one responsible. Sai has been very respectful about it mostly, apart from the moment she lost her father, she has never spoken about it.. Even when her father is insulted on a daily basis by the family members of her husband , who know Virat's life in a way is because of the uncultured girl's father's sacrifice..

True, I agree. That is the main problem. The guy is too self centred and can’t think beyond his issues or misery.
