Hey!
Thank you for understanding my point! Even I wished that the hug did last longer with nothing disturbing it, but there is a 3rd angle that is bound to stay, whether we want it or not.
@bold - we all know how Pakhi will take it, and that's what the forum members, including me were worried about, but I didn't see any other intentions from Virat's end.
Actually this hug was natural, so i didn't see it as an interruption. It was a flow in which it was shown. Don't know why but it was a well executed scene as it was spontaneous. And i didn't get the KKHH feeling at all.
Virat's intention were clear, he wanted his sisters happiness and he wanted to thank all who helped him achieve that.
Completely agree. Normally I would have protested but today Virat's intention was clear.
I'm just sad. It felt like he was hugging a random kid.
Sairat first hug, there should have been an awareness when they broke off at the proximity or a sense of awkwardness when it was done. But the scenes was just rushed to proceed with hand holding. It left a bitter taste. I dunno man, I'm so disappointed with the show now.

Thank u for this post niya ,
He went to ask help from a friend which pakhi agreed reluctantly.
As soon as skit was over sairat hugged each & pakhi gave a look to virat.
For pakhi it was like virat used her & now his work is over so he don't care to even appreciate her so she thought of leaving . Virat stopped pakhi from leaving coz he wanted to appreciate her as a family member.
Virat genuinely went to ask help from pakhi as a friend after Mohit , Sai's insistence coz they were not willing to go. They all included pakhi in d skit coz they don't want her to be left out.
Hey Fruity!🤗
Even I felt that Virat's appreciation to Pakhi was a family member, not even as a friend. And initially, Virat was reluctant to take Pakhi's help and he only went to her because Sai asked him to. Though I did wish that the SaiRat moment was not interrupted, it didn't seem like Virat was hinting at something else.

Hey Neerja🤗
I totally understand what you are saying, and yes, such a monumental SaiRat moment did not deserve such a distraction, and I do agree that the makers ruined it by incorporating unnecessary elements. I'm just addressing Virat as a character in my post, and how it wasn't out of character for Virat to do that as a people pleaser, and how this thing that he did wasn't as bad the other things😆 that were worth bashing in today's episode.
I really didn't mean to offend you😳
Oh no no- absolutely no offense taken at all! 😊
I understand your pov.
I do understand virats intention was only platonic.
But it ruined a good scene for me. It wasn't the handholding i personally have a problem with, its the timing!
In my posts i have criticized the makers for this pointless scene addition, but i dont think this scene amounts to Virat being immoral, wamting EMA, etc etc. But it does seem jarring that he is SO concerned about thanking his friend that he had to do so immediately, even as he was hugging his wife! 🙄 Itni kya jaldi hai?!
The makers maybe think that such a scene brings the "drama" quotient of a love triangle. But as a viewer it only made me cringe. They ruined the Sairat hug moment. If they had not inserted this pp handholding, the Sairat hug scene would have got a million views with viewers like myself drooling over it😍 Even if the hug had ended abruptly with Sai leaving to go meet Tai, and Virat just smiled at her lovingly. Then he could have looked away and noticed pp and gone to talk to her. It would have achieved makers purpose and made the viewing experience a bit better.
Plus what they made Virat do today seems kinda off-character. yesterday he was unwilling to even go talk to pp, he agreed only coz it was for devi-harini, he was annoyed at how pp said- you are more than a friend, he gave her a look when she held his hand, since hospital scene we have seen how he has shrugged her hand away more than once. So on the one hand, he is shown maintaining distance so why does he now want to stop her haath pakad ke?!
Or maybe makers do want to show that he is indecisive like a yo-yo n that he cant make up his mind about whether he really wants to push pp away or not.

Did Virat thank Sai in today’s episode? I couldn’t bear to watch full episode so must’ve missed out on it. Did he?
No he just hugged her repeating "Hum Kamyab hogye" rant and than holded the other woman's hand..

The skit was her idea so the one who should be thanked is her. And Mohit. This is so weird 🤣 idek how to defend this guy

I go with Niraja. His hand holding ruined the moment for me. He could have verbally asked her to stay and thank her.. So I am not convinced with what he did,Whatever be his intention.
Hey!
I do agree that it could have been omitted. If it weren't there, it would have been an amazing moment. We really deserve to see a goodSaiRat hug without interruptions. But, it didn't put Virat in a bad light or show that he had other intentions. That's what I meant.

Hey!
I do agree with you here. Was the hand-holding unnecessary? Yes. Could the hug have lasted longer? Yes. Could the thank you have waited? Yes. I do agree with all of it. But, what I'm trying to convey is that despite the unnecessary hindrance we are angry about, it didn't seem like Virat was trying to initiate something with Pakhi or lead her on [what she thinks is another topic altogether]. I think that since she was present in the same space, and she did help Virat, according to him, he stopped her to thank her. Though it could have waited and though we wanted the hug to last longer, we must come to terms with the fact that the real life dynamics are changing some things on-screen too. What I'm trying to convey was that, though that ViraKhi moment was unnecessary, I feel that completely turning on Virat for that is not needed.
I don't doubt Virat's intentions at all. He might be many things, but I don't think he is a cheater. Yes, he is unnecessarily soft with people who don't deserve it. And with Pakhi, there is the added guilt of her life supposedly getting spoiled because of him. But like you said, the offscreen dynamics seems to interfering way too much with onscreen scenes. Any good creative team would have curtailed it. Instead, here they seem to be actually encouraging such rubbish. That is what is pissing me off. Every time we get a good SaiRat moment, the offscreen drama is spoiling it.
So the day we all, or at least some of us had been waiting for has finally come... Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin finally ended and with that it...
