Loved your post! You almost always seem to say what I have in mind, specially in regards with anokhi

I don’t know how the accident is gonna shape up with respect to jugni anokhi and in love anokhi (they really seem like two different ppl)

But one thing I am happy about is writers noticed this thing and probably all of this was done deliberately to Probably showcase how most sorted of 20 year olds can behave impulsively.

Atleast I would like to believe that it was deliberate since this gives me hope ki writers remember old anokhi and how there was something that happened to her in these 3-4 weeks and I wasn’t just imagining things, nor was I totally wrong lol 😂

I mean writers aur anokhi dono ko lagta hai ki ‘what happened to her, what she is doing’ so I wasn’t wrong in feeling the same🥺

I think They basically did all of this to prove some sort of a point to viewers or to anokhi (not exactly clear tho, maybe in future episodes they might show some clarity on this aspect)

I want her character to come back on track and with a proper reasoning for the inconsistency. Hands down Highlight of today’s episode for me.

Also the warning in the starting was so apt😭😭😭

Like even if a person, is husband, boyfriend or whoever... Controlling you because of their jealousy is kind of proof of distrust! They don't trust you as a partner to be sober... And this opinion is not gender based! Same goes for woman who expects their man to keep them informed about every female friends they have the way they interact and all... I have a male friend and he has to call his wife-to-be on video call every time he meets us... So that his wife can be sure he isn't elsewhere or whatever... I guess such things are toxic..

Coming to manhandling... I don't like it, I have raised it earlier but now I am tired of calling it out... Apparently it's latest happening thing of television... Lol... And one of the worse manhandling in this show was during angry confession... I got headache seeing Anokhi being treated as milkshake... But oh well! Shaurya has been shown that way only with Anokhi since like I guess ragging scene...

I stopped treating these two as student teacher long back... Or else I wouldn't have been able to enjoy the show at all.. I love these two... But being into the profession seeing love story is little distracting.. Plus they have shown such scenes of unethical practices... Like Shaurya chosing to correct her paper first and all... Lesser I speak.. Better it is..

@bold: as far as I know manhandling is shown in every itv show involving angry young man lead and almost all shows have an angry young man lead.

Also, he didn’t use to manhandle her much before, manhandling grew out of control during that jeolosy track, and it isn’t stopping at all.

Like she is so tiny in front of him, I have felt so many times ki kahin shoulder dislocate na ho jaaye😂😭

About last para: yes there were few unethical practices shown, isi liye the fact ki he isn’t her professor anymore is comforting; like I have no qualms with student-professor relationship (as long as all professional ethics are followed) but writers already had so much on their plate as a point of conflict, it is good that they didn’t involve much in this student professor thing.

The show was off to a good start but I’ve lost interest last few weeks

Anokhi has changed and I feel like she has been dumbed down a bit

ACP: dudes got a lot of spare time...very unrealistic

Shaurya: He is turning into a typical hero...the man handling, silly jealousy etc etc

Shagun: they ruined her character. She went from a self respecting educated woman to a loser. Chasing after someone who doesn’t love you...what’s the point ?

Hoping they go back to the old show and boot Shagun soon.

I completely agree with your post. I haven't been able to connect with Anokhi post her love realization. It feels like we are watching a different show..this is not the Anokhi I signed up for.

Not just Anokhi, I feel like Shaurya's character has also taken a 180 degree turn.

I just hope this MU brings their core characteristics back

him pushing pulling her around is my most discussed point. i literally mention it everywhere i could share. I hate people who think invading someone'e personal space is ok as long as you both look romantic and end up oozing chemistry....thats a show may be thats why people dont talk abt it being wrong.. cause no one can imagine something similar happening to them in real life and sane girl would get anxiety and panic attack just by being with someone like that... (and i really dont want any girl to get such man in life who thinks manhandling can resolve any issue between him n his girl).

and after today's episode.. i am waiting with bated breath for that old sassy, spunky Anokhi to be back soon.

So, I could be considered one of those rare species who did not enjoy the phase of couple falling in love as much as I enjoyed the phase of them kicking off the love story and them being heartbroken post romantic phase in this unique show.

Right from the time Reema had nudged Anokhi, there was a spark missing in Anokhi that made her look like some different person altogether and I lost the connection. Again whatever I am saying is exactly exactly what Anokhi called it out loud today. She was being bewakoof... Not my words... But Anokhi's...

She forgot her aim, her reasons to run away from wedding everything behind this feeling! She forgot how practical and smart she used to be, and yet went on to do this bewakoofi... The only benefit I have is that today Anokhi admitted every single thing that I (and some other members) have been observing and pointing it out... She wanted Babli to scold her who kept warning her...

She isn't going to be someone who will continue being weak around PS... But show her stronger side...

I am proud of her as a character of Anokhi... I hope we get the old Anokhi back who would balance her feelings and remember her aim... Be reminded of the promise!

Again old Anokhi is her Anokhi's words - "Mein kya thi aur kya ban gayi hoon?"

Am I trying to say that just because she is topper, her falling in love is bewakoofi? I never felt / said her falling in love is bewakoofi or stupidity... My issue is her actions have been inconsistent with old Anokhi! But doesn't anyone who falls in love behaves that way... She is just 20 and she was behaving absolutely normal like girl her age who is in love! Yes (umm... With over chessy and filmy style)... But but but... Anokhi has never been like other people her age! Remember in the initial episodes when girls in the bus and she wasn't keen on singing and enjoying as she was busy planning for her debate and all. She clearly told Shaurya to understand that she was different from other people and so were her problems... Anokhi was supposed to be really Anokhi, hence some of us thought that when she falls in love she will maintain her uniqueness...

I do want her to enjoy her own life, live like a normal girl, and experience and experiment with things in life... But that's for herself and because she deserves it... Not because she is in love!

I felt disconnected when she could not concentrate on her studies because of PS - it was shown in the show! Inspite of knowing how Babli's in laws have tortured her, she didn't bother to find out if she was okay when the call got disconnected.. Her being late for college, her over thinking whether to go for Holi or not with fear of facing PS has been out of line with her character. Her not giving back to Shauyra like she did everytime he said something unreasonable or be it something like going out of way for him.

Tomorrow when she hears about the accident, she is going to run back to him for sake of her feelings... And I don't see that action as anything wrong! She Loves him and she must visit him! It's her right... But going forward, let love not cloud basic characteristics that make Anokhi really unique!

They are meant to be... But they have their own individual roles to play... I love ShaKhi, I love Anokhi and I love Shaurya... Each of them have their own core characteristics... Yes, each of them need development but derailing them in name of love is not something cool!

But.... I am going to celebrate this time...

Because yay!!! I see old Anokhi coming back... today's episode

And hope this samajdar nikki is back for longer and to stay!!!

I know no one will call it out because fandoms enjoy such scenes! Regarding marham patti after being rough... Mehendi had that scene... And Pallavi was in mode starring at him and all... And he doesn't do that often... Also Raghav isn't masked don na... He is wayyy scarier.. But as character he hasn't over done with physical boundaries unless situations demanded ... Ab talak.. I feel... Aaj ka episode of Mehendi was refreshing!

See, writers would be really stupid to not notice it when fans themselves do! But I just wonder if they will bring that fierce Nikki back with time...

I don't mind Nikki feeling bad for Shaurya and visiting him and confessing... That's all part of emotions and feelings she had... But blaming herself and giving up rationale Anokhi is my problem...

Lol... But see... The whole point of the whole scene yesterday was just to ensure... That some of us who felt storyline to be rushed and plot to be inconsistent weren't entirely wrong.... See every show has its own set of inconsistent plots and twists.... Even TRP toppers like Anupama... But they tend to be quite adjustable and definitely not as big as what we have seen in this show...

I am all in for love story... For Shaurya and Anokhi ki Kahani... But maintain the decency of plot... And purpose of the show...

I am dying to see old Anokhi back... Who isn't here to please anyone or take blames from people around.. But let's see...
