Like even if a person, is husband, boyfriend or whoever... Controlling you because of their jealousy is kind of proof of distrust! They don't trust you as a partner to be sober... And this opinion is not gender based! Same goes for woman who expects their man to keep them informed about every female friends they have the way they interact and all... I have a male friend and he has to call his wife-to-be on video call every time he meets us... So that his wife can be sure he isn't elsewhere or whatever... I guess such things are toxic..

Coming to manhandling... I don't like it, I have raised it earlier but now I am tired of calling it out... Apparently it's latest happening thing of television... Lol... And one of the worse manhandling in this show was during angry confession... I got headache seeing Anokhi being treated as milkshake... But oh well! Shaurya has been shown that way only with Anokhi since like I guess ragging scene...

I stopped treating these two as student teacher long back... Or else I wouldn't have been able to enjoy the show at all.. I love these two... But being into the profession seeing love story is little distracting.. Plus they have shown such scenes of unethical practices... Like Shaurya chosing to correct her paper first and all... Lesser I speak.. Better it is..

Jealousy is very stupid and immature tbh at the age of Shaurya, for teenagers it's still acceptable. Like u said, it's also about sends wring message regarding trusting your partner.

From Arnav Singh Raizada to Shivay Singh Oberoi to Shaurya Saberwal.....how fo audience still like these stuff I don't get it. I think if they didn't show these stuff, no love story would have started at first as their way of thinking is:

Regarding the answer script checking, I have seen some of the teachers actually do this. They check the script of the topper at first to assess how the rest have performed. So, don't know if this is unethical or not. But I am so glad he isn’t her lecturer anymore. Otherwise, even if Anokhi scored well due to her hard work, the students would have termed it as her husband's/bf's favour. I hate how the society labels women's success as a result of the husband's work if they both are working in the same profession in the same company/project.

First of all a big round of applause for the CVs to let us have the glimpse of the real self of both the lead characters in back to back 2 episodes, yesterday it was Shaurya and today Anokhi..

We got to see their self realization of what they yearn for in life, their deep desires (Shaurya.. Unconditional love, Anokhi.. her dreams, her aim, her studies)... cause when one is shattered, broken, gasping for life the first thing they recall is what they really wanted in life but could not have.

Also what both of them yearned for is poles apart. So I can see we are back to the Biggest Conflict of the show.. Love vs Career...this time in much clearer way and as if CVs reminded us and both the leads "bhai jhagda yahi se shuru hua tha na so lets just stick to it."

And if it remains that way I'd be more than happy..

Now back to today's episode...

Before today's episode Anokhi was on cloud 9 to have someone as handsome and perfect as Shaurya to be in love with her. But when reality struck (Babli already warned her abt it) her self realization as to how come the Smartest Anokhi could turn to this Stupid Pyar me Jhalli Anokhi... that one Conversation was the BEST part of the episode.

Just like we were unable to believe her change so easily and she had exact same disappointment with her own self.

It was surely long pending but "for me" time was right. Cause when you get shock of ur life and heart gets broken badly thats exactly when mighty brain comes to rescue. To recall all the stupidity that Heart had done, all the red flag which were ignored, all the warnings and heads up disregarded.. cause LOVE you know.

So i am happy it happened... better late than never.

And FINALYY.. that conversation was powerful beyond any additional explanation just like Shaurya's last epi. And it was so well concluded that old Smart Anokhi is still there somewhere to question her own deeds on recent times...

1. That she clearly figured out what she wants in life. And how much she had to fight to for all those things.

2. How can a smart girl like her can be this stupid and lose the focus of her own life just by falling in love.

(I dont blame her.. pyar me pad ke acche ache deewane ho jate hai... ye to abhi 20 saal ki bachi hai.)

and am sure this Old hidden (or sleeping) Anokkhi will get back on her feet and fight for her dreams.

But again Love as per precap.... whatever happens let me be happy and celebrate..

cause Purani Anokhi ne ek Jhalak to dikha hi di hai... bas picture abhi baaki hai mere dost.

So, I could be considered one of those rare species who did not enjoy the phase of couple falling in love as much as I enjoyed the phase of them kicking off the love story and them being heartbroken post romantic phase in this unique show.

Right from the time Reema had nudged Anokhi, there was a spark missing in Anokhi that made her look like some different person altogether and I lost the connection. Again whatever I am saying is exactly exactly what Anokhi called it out loud today. She was being bewakoof... Not my words... But Anokhi's...

She forgot her aim, her reasons to run away from wedding everything behind this feeling! She forgot how practical and smart she used to be, and yet went on to do this bewakoofi... The only benefit I have is that today Anokhi admitted every single thing that I (and some other members) have been observing and pointing it out... She wanted Babli to scold her who kept warning her...

She isn't going to be someone who will continue being weak around PS... But show her stronger side...

I am proud of her as a character of Anokhi... I hope we get the old Anokhi back who would balance her feelings and remember her aim... Be reminded of the promise!

Again old Anokhi is her Anokhi's words - "Mein kya thi aur kya ban gayi hoon?"

Am I trying to say that just because she is topper, her falling in love is bewakoofi? I never felt / said her falling in love is bewakoofi or stupidity... My issue is her actions have been inconsistent with old Anokhi! But doesn't anyone who falls in love behaves that way... She is just 20 and she was behaving absolutely normal like girl her age who is in love! Yes (umm... With over chessy and filmy style)... But but but... Anokhi has never been like other people her age! Remember in the initial episodes when girls in the bus and she wasn't keen on singing and enjoying as she was busy planning for her debate and all. She clearly told Shaurya to understand that she was different from other people and so were her problems... Anokhi was supposed to be really Anokhi, hence some of us thought that when she falls in love she will maintain her uniqueness...

i really could not connect to this love struck Anokhi cause I was unable to imagine the girl who was so desperate to not to get married for her studies is suddenly in love with the very first man got in her personal space..

but all is well if ends well.. anokhi's confession about all her bewakoofi is welcome move.

And just like you i want to see her being in love like a strong self dependent girl who can call her bf on all his wrongs and anger... which she did in past when Shaurya misbehaved with Astha.. but now when shows that same anger to Anokhi she is just taking it all...thinking "PS aisa kyu kar rahe hai"

Shaurya has been shown acting as a teenager and he admitted that to himself. As much as it sends out wrong message, I have seen people wanting to see more of it in fictions... Like atleast chodo Ahir-Shaurya had comical sequences and Hitesh-KV truly shares amazing chemistry...

No comments on the way passion is defined these days. In some ways, Shaurya could be lesser compared to SSO or ASR because like you said... Anokhi does not really call it out... And he does back out when she is angry and does not let him pull in... (except for angry confession sequence of course)..

But all this is actually suited only for television world and cannot be applied to real life... I haven't seen such man handling in English shows... But then they are able to explore more ways to show passion🤣 like had this been an American series, aaj tak do tin lip locks mil gaye hote...

In the university where I visit.. We get papers with seat numbers and name sealed while checking... If we do want to find out or go through any unethical means we need to try identifying papers through handwriting 😆... As far as I know that's one of the way to maintain ethical practices here...

Woman, to begin with, are often not even considered for higher package or position owning responsibilities at home... And discrimination at workplace is trying to neutralize but it's impossible to get it removed... Like imagine, during Covid.. Everyone suffered job losses... And a bigger firm (won't name it here) fired my friend inspite of her great performance and promotion due because she has a child and they feel its better option to let male worker continue in the role over female as they doubted her to sooner or later focus more on her child! It's cruel world out there.. 🤢 woman's hardwork is recognized only when it's 3x of what man does to get same recognition.

i was confused and speechless as to how could she speak that in front of the professor of the college she is about to take admission, and the very same person who literally gave her hardest time for interview and all the drama afterwards. like wait.. what ? are you sure you know thar you are just a student standing in front of the director of the college.. even if he is just 30 but he is THE DIRECTOR and Professor.. where are you manners girl

him pushing pulling her around is my most discussed point. i literally mention it everywhere i could share. I hate people who think invading someone'e personal space is ok as long as you both look romantic and end up oozing chemistry....thats a show may be thats why people dont talk abt it being wrong.. cause no one can imagine something similar happening to them in real life and sane girl would get anxiety and panic attack just by being with someone like that... (and i really dont want any girl to get such man in life who thinks manhandling can resolve any issue between him n his girl).

and after today's episode.. i am waiting with bated breath for that old sassy, spunky Anokhi to be back soon.

I think she will keep thoda fluctuating between new and old Nikki but ultimately will learn to balance them. I am not expecting her to fall out of love... But definitely maintain some distance till she understands what kind of life she wants...

I completely enjoyed the whole conversation between Babli and Nikki and her self realization moment of what some of us have been pointing out. And it's after quite sometime that I also enjoyed the parallel scenes... And it was ShaKhi... Her saying I don't want this love thing and Shaurya's accident... Her saying I don't need anyone like Mr. Shaurya Saberwal... Him being shown injured and her saying that she wishes she wouldn't have met him ever.... And his unconscious act...

And while she said these words... Those were being echoed... And said it in some symbolic manner...

Though I was expecting her to not go back to confession and all... I still have little hope that Shagun will handle that... And she starts rethinking about everything that he has been saying and doing... Whether she believes Shagun or not. But I want Shaurya to change slowly... I want to see some conflicts and sensible arguments...

Shagun added some valid question before revealing.. Kya tumhe nai jaan na... Hamara rishta toota kyun tha? Though she added her own masala of manipulation and all.. But the fact that they never spent time knowing each others past or deeper self in itself a huge setback in a relationship... They would learn now... Hopefully from their mistakes!!!

@bold..I am learning filmmaking and editing and cinematography are my fav fields. and believe me i love the editing in this show. especially those intercutting scenes. it happened in past many times which i rewatched many times to understand and learn from it.... that intercutting is done to intensify conflict or show juxtaposition between the charcaters and here it was same... that Shaurya is so in love that he cant handle not being able to be with Anokhi and got in accident while Anokhi is all set to make distance with him....emotionally and physically.

This show has one of the best editing of ITV in recent times.

abt shaurya.. wo to hona hi chahiye.. cause jab tak conflict hoga nahi tab tak resolve kaise hoga... aur cheeze open me kaise aayengi... his and anokhi's different aims in life. uska bada wala debate to am waiting so badly.

wahi na... these shows have changed the definition of love by using Manhandling just to milk the so called chemistry... everytime shaurya pulls anokhi, grabs her shoulder badly.. my table gets so many punchs which are supposed to be for Shaurya...

reality is so different then shows but these shows still stick to so called tactics to use chemistry...

Her 'PS aisa kyun kar rahe hai..' and ignoring actual reasons of his behavior was super annoying! I do hope that with this conflict track we get to see the Anokhi who is sure about her aims and dreams... But is also stuck with feelings for Shaurya... Her dialogue of. ' Shadi meri manzil nai hai...' still stays clear in my memory!

Like you said for Anokhi she has to settle between Love vs. Career conflict... But Shaurya has his career set... Ab usse kuch nai hai that he knows of... And he just needs to settle down in his life... With the woman he loves... It's going to be quite a journey to see change his views (if makers are planning to deal with it..)... But actually Shaurya too has quite bit to deal with... Like Shaurya has to deal with his inner demons, settle relationships with his parents, support Anokhi in her journey and all...

In this relationship, I feel Shaurya won't consider having any more responsibilities than ensuring Anokhi's happiness... But Anokhi definitely comes with more responsibilities, her mother and babli being two of them... She had kind of promised her mother she will bring her with her once she is settled... And all... I want to see Anokhi fulfilling them one by one... I feel she will start with Babli's life though...

See that debate thing is only happening if Shaurya ka soch hasn't changed already... Him apologizing to Shagun, calling himself a changed person in front of Babli while accepting Anokhi as aaj ki ladkhi and being in love... Is really making it dicey that they will focus on process... Pyaar ho gaya and banda change ho gaya situation still lingers...

I am keeping thoda low on expectations till I see it...

About parallel editing... It was fantastic today and episode 1... I hated seeing Devi in car sequences of sleeping Anokhi and Shaurya staring time..thanks to RiMi I have cleaner version😆 so they need to know audience preferences I guess..
