Shouldn’t this happen for the story to move ahead because right now it’s pretty much stalemate. Also, if they show her doubting him before it happens, I think it will create more crack in their relationship. If they show it happen after something actually happens, then there will only be guilt and EHSAAN and their relationship already has a big dose of it. I do think that it high time, they now show us some of her actual gray traits which are not relevant to her fights with Aditya and get her out of the “ Mahanta” zone to a “Human” zone.

Yes, story needs some movement big time. Right now they aren't moving it on any front.....neither the Adi-Imlie front, neither Malini's evolution, nor Imlie's education.

They've added Nishant in now but I didn't really get the sense that much of him changing much in the family....he's just being added in for more family side plots. Unless he brings about a change in equation for the main three, there really isn't any point.

Malini ka "grey/human" zone has been rendered moot so many times even after big blow ups between her and Adi that momentum is kinda lost now. Dunno how they can try to build it again. Maybe Nishant talking about another side to Adi that Malini may not fully know yet can bring some shifts.....let's see.

This is not what Gashmeer said at all. Nowhere did he say that Adi hasn't made any mistakes. He was simply talking about the fact that the situations the characters are in and the problems in their life are circumstantial in nature to a large extent. This not a competition between who is more right - Adi or Imlie or Malini.

He was talking about how Malini is the choice that Adi has made in his life while Imlie is a bond that is being formed by forces beyond his control. And that is what Adi is caught between right now.

As for Adi realizing the slights incurred towards Imlie by him....well that isn't something to justify, it's something to realize and that will only be realized when writers want to move the story forward. No one can do anything about it at this point and I didn't see Gashmeer justifying any of Adi's slights towards Imlie in that IV either. He was only talking about where the story currently is.....nobody knows what lies ahead for these three right now.

I don't doubt that Adi will get his comeuppance for committing bigamy....ultimately he was the one that took the step to marry Malini without dissolving his marriage with Imlie or informing Malini about it.....so that Karma will definitely come his way at some point. Just cuz it isn't happening right now doesn't mean he will get a free pass in the long run. From his character POV right now, he wants to focus on his married life with Malini since he only considers her his wife, but destiny and forces beyond his control keep pushing him towards Imlie as well. Right now he may appear to have it good that he has Malini in his life while also still getting to do his "zimmedaari/protection" towards Imlie but clearly it's not a sustainable situation. More than likely, Karma will strike him so hard that he will be left with neither woman in his life for a bit.

Ok - hindi is not a strong forte for me - but I thought I heard him say - everyone is right in their own way - har insaan apni jagah mein ek dum sahi hai! I can allign on this for Imli and Malini but not for Adi. This situation mess is of his creating...not force of nature. If he had shared the PG truth - things would have been different...destiny may have brought Adi and Imlie in a different way if it had to - but it may have been kinder to Imlie than her current situation. Adi's almost indifference to Imlie's plight does not sit well with me at all. Before his marriage to Malini - he was guilty and always torn. Now other than a few occasions - he has moved on with his married life. I know things will change - but it does cast slight on Adi's character and his seeming lack of empathy with what Imlie is going through.

Also while I can see the force of destiny and nature at work around all of us - ultimately we make the choices and are accountable for them. If he pursues Imlie in future - it's a factor of his allowing his mind and desire to takeover based on everything he has allowed to transpire between them and not like Nature suddenly put some kind of chemical attraction that would suddenly force them together...even though he did not want it. He would have slowly and willingly walked on the path that led to this outcome - it is not forced on him - is what I'm thinking.

I did not say he justified Imlie's slights in the onterview. I said he does not even think of her enough to consider certain things he says may upset her. He is all upset at AC - but his words and actions are always more hurtful to Imlie and he does not seem to weigh what he does or says out of consideration to her - in the show is all I'm saying.

Regarding the outfit - I was also wondering if Adi gave her the outfit - since she said he was scared. Just to prove a point...this whole scenario of the outfit has taken over my mind :)

So true... they have not been consistent with her. Like how we know Imlie has her own jhalli way which we have all accepted and kind of adore, Aditya has his temper, but for Malini there is a ping pong between Mahanta and her grey shades, so it’s really difficult to get a read on her or how they want to shape her character.

Nishan is brought in to move the story forward. Now we just have to see what shape he gives to this story.
