Enjoying this story and thanks for the update. After reading the chapter we can realize why Shashi chose the Malik family heir for kushi because both the families share the same sentiments very orthodox traditional and family oriented . Naksh knows kushi has golden voice ,her ambition is to sing on radio but according to him she can sing indoors for the family and for him but not publicly and singing on radio is a complete no.Hence kushi is frustrated with the alliance .

Naksh is marrying her purely because he is fascinated by her voice and personality also the added bonus is business merger. He is aware of her wishes but will not fulfil them but Arnav is aware of her wishes and dreams ,I think he’ll come as her saviour and help her looks like.

Must wait and see how the story moves forward.

Thank you for this lovely comment. You are spot on. About Malik & Gupta families. In the next chapter, you get see Malik family and it becomes even clearer. Arnav has got his own motives when it comes to this union.

Back to the story. I judged Naksh to early. So, he tried his best, but was emotionally blackmailed. For Anish there is no difference between decorations and babies. 😲

Naksh is trying to strike a balance between business, marriage, his father, Khushi's happiness and his cousin Arnav. It is going to be hard.

If Khushi runs away from the wedding and takes Aranv's help it will be early Diwali, early new year's fireworks and early 4th of July fireworks combined together.

We are inching towards the D day and totally enjoying reading it.

Naksh’s father is a typical orthodox man who believes a girl’s place is only inside the house n giving birth to children n that’s it nothing more n he also has a bitter relationship with his nephew n doesn’t want to clear the misunderstanding between them.

Looks like naksh is being forced by his father to not give khushi a chance in pursuing her hobby...his intimidation, threats and blackmail is overwhelming naksh at this point...
