Many Indians look down learning Indian languages as down market. They consider fluency in any Indian language as Dehati. I have seen this mindset a lot.

You need to be popular to get roles. Now-days social media popularity actually affects an actors career.

I know but I was talking in context of Sushant. He said he doesn’t understand actors who work to be famous or make money. He likes becoming characters

I've been really disappointed as a fan because I've been waiting since 12 years for Ranbir to play a different role because he's only been playing a coming of age man-child since his debut. He's talented but definitely not the most as he has zero versatility.

Samar was man child??? Barfi was a man child??? Bunny was a man child??? There was no one more cleared about his priorities than bunny was. Even ved was not man child. Lets leave rocket singh alone because to call him a man child is like rebuking his intelligence. Even ayan was an obessed lover not a man child. Prem was not aan child either. He was mature enough . Only man child character i can recall in his 12 years long career was jordon

Man child means an immature man. If you call bunny someone so ambitious so hard working and so clearly about hid career goals or someone like samar or barfi or the other above mentioned characters as man child then i have nothing to say.

You are his fan how??

The kind of work ranbir brings to the table nobody can among the current generation

Sometimes I feel he valued his ideals much more than his movie career. He was not fit for bollywood. Bollywood is the most addictive hell for everyone.

More often than not his characters needs to find himself 😂

That s called bhed chal. If you have watch half of hid film yoh will know how wrong that narrative is. But i guess its worthless to debate this topic on if as people have already made up their mind. I don't get how after watching barfi or rajneeti or even yjhd or ae dil people think that his character was trying to find himself. Like how far can people be from reality. 😆

“Hanging out with other famous people also helps them boost their public image and most of the so called ‘outings’ are pre-planned and orchestrated events by PR firms with already paid paparazzi who click their pictures.”

I can bet anyone money Karan also plans Aloo-RK dates for them! No PR needed !

Whoa buddy calm down 🤗 I've been his fan since he debuted but that doesn't mean I'm blind to his flaws. The only serious roles he has done in 13 years Rajniti and Roy and he was like a zombie in both of them.

Someone can be ambitious and still be a man child. In literally all his movies he's been playing the same childish coming of age character (which he's fantastic in btw and I cant imagine anyone else doing it). But he has shown no versatility in his characters whatsoever. Unlike his contemporaries like Shahid and Ranveer who just transform into totally different characters in each movie.
