You may not believe me but I'm still watching the show, mostly the pre marriage episodes again and again.. This must probably be my fifth time in the past few months. And I have even started writing! It is such a stress buster. I have given up on reminding myself that this is just a show. 😆

The characters Arnav and Khushi are so much more than that! This show is evergreen and trust me it'll stay that way for years to come! There is a certain magic to it. You can't escape once you fall under its spell. 😉

Yeah I do feel the characters are so impactful its hard to forget it. Thankfully I am not watching anymore (i really wanted to get out of that phase lmao) but I am still writing :)

I have started writing recently too and I am waiting to finish enough material to post it here.

I had started watching ipk after a very very long time when the lockdown started. So I guess it'll take some time for me get over it again.

I had been watching here and there since february, so it took me some time too. The thing is it strongly inspires me to write, so as long as its used just for that im happy cus god knows how much time ive spent looking for certain things through the episodes lmao

I can absolutely relate to that.. rewatching episodes to make sure you aren't writing something unlikely or trying figure out a plot point! I have always wanted to write something related to ipk and I'm finally doing it.. hopefully I'll do a decent job. I'd love to read some of your work (if it's okay) once I'm ready to post mine. Whatever little free time I can find these days, I use it to write.

Yeah for sure, i still havent seen alot of the episodes esp the ones in the beginning and if i know some scenes are too hurtful i cant watch it lol

I started watching this show when I was 15 and now I am 23, the effect of it hasn't dimmed in the slightest. I agree with you, this show has its own charm and its something one can't easily get over. I binged it few weeks ago when I caught few of its episode on starplus almost after 4 years. It was good to relive it and that's what made me visit the forum and reread my favorite stories here!

Oh, Arnav and Kushi are living happily in a parallel universe after exposing Shyam. I totally ignore the Shitall track and subsequent ending. Don't even have Aarav in my parallel universe, I'm all for Arshi discovering the purest form of joy a couple experience when they find out they are going to have a baby.

Haha, I can’t tell you how much I relate myself to this, lol. The whole Sheetal-Aarav track was so unnecessary and irrelevant. There were thousand other things that could’ve been discovered instead of that meaningless, negative track. Hell, they should’ve gotten pregnant, or could’ve shown a proper redemption track. But unfortunately, there are only stories we can make up in our minds and write. I loved the show but the ending just didn’t leave me satisfied enough. But Ek Jashn was definitely a treat to watch! :)
