Obviously her fans have put these faltu despo ideas in her head. But the fact that she is so easily swayed into such despo wannabe things does reveal what a weak-minded and shallow girl she is.

We gave her too much credit in the early days of IB as a somewhat sensible girl. Aur ab dekho 🙄😂.....the levels of tacky despogiri are too constant and relentless with her to draw any other conclusion....she is only obsessed with tacky wannabe glamor rather than any actual interest in the craft of acting. What a pity. She has the acting talent but doesn’t want to use it 🤷‍♀️. Oh well.

lol I honestly don’t understand the disappointment people seem to have with season 2 🤷‍♀️

They actually explored the psyche of the characters with interesting parallels and continuation from season 1. I personally really enjoyed that exploration of their complicated emotions as people who are confused and then tripped up by bad timing.

This is the rare web series where I enjoyed both seasons for different reasons.

Oh well. I do seem to enjoy things that many others don’t seem to have the patience or interest for. Lol

As for Massey saab, lol well people seem to call him Vikrant in interviews. Fans ne khud se Massey nickname bana diya lagta hai 🤷‍♀️

I have serious doubts on her ability to “think” anymore 🙄🤦‍♀️😆

Either she blindly agrees to any suggestion for a photoshoot kahin bhi kabhi bhi or she is that desperate to post “hawt” pics to appease her despo fan girls ki yeh sahi lagaa ise 🤷‍♀️

The irony is that the pics were anything but “hawt”. Everything she does these days is tacky off the charts. This looked like a sleazy D grade photo shoot and she is busy giving sleazy D grade expressions. Either she doesn’t realize how cheap her expressions look or she thinks it’s fine as long as her fans tell her it’s good. Lol

Waise maybe it’s not just her fans. I also wonder if her sister is mistakenly telling her all this is “hawt” toh karte raho to “build a glam image” but reality is that SC isn’t able to pull it off and her expressions look sleazy instead. What a pity 🤦‍♀️

Glamorous stuff karna hai toh shauq se karo but kuch toh class rakh lo 🙏. She thinks anyone who criticizes this tacky crap she does is “judging her” and can’t handle her “success” 🙄🙄😂

I’m watching the Nayantara track these days and Shivika are so wonderful in it terms of progression in this phase. ❤️

The way the NKK angle was woven in differently for this phase is still one of the better written parts of Shivika’s story IMO. On one side a Shivaay more worried for Anika’s reaction to knowing she could have such a mom...worried more for Anika’s hurt than his own NKK hangup vis a vis having such a MIL. On the other side an Anika who is worried that Shivaay will shatter if he finds out the truth of his own “illegitimacy” and “real mom” Kamini.

And somewhere in between we also got to see an Anika exhibiting her own brand of NKK as she shows her disgust with NT ka behavior, her greed, her lack of class. It was an interesting turn of events IMO to show how some level of NKK exists in everyone. Sadly the writers didn’t highlight it very much and rushed to other drama and convoluting the whole thing with the khichdi over the najaayaz beta stuff. Lol but I still liked this angle.

IB did such random things....like NT being bald wala angle 😆....ek baar dikhaya and then gaayab. Lol

So true. There is actually a lot going on in this track and sometimes I feel so many things got lost or at least underrated because of the messy khichdi they used to make of everything. There was so much to savour if they weren’t to keep us so busy tearing our hair out all the time with other silly stuff.

As regards your above post about SC, didn’t want to say it but completely agree. The girl has so much talent and potential but aajkal her whole focus is on being “sexy”. Not that there is anything wrong in being sexy or wanting to be sexy. But yeh thoda overzealous lagta hai mujhe. And sometimes comes off as tacky. And somehow I feel her aggressive fandom is doing her a disservice by fawning over the wrong things and she seems to get completely swayed by it. It’s sad because the girl has so much talent. Hope she makes better judgement calls and looks for substance too along with the glamour.

I think I remember being so FED UP of the convoluted khichadi at the time also 😆. The way the Mahi track kept morphing into this Frankensteinish mess of weird combinations 🙈🙈😂. Kahaan shuru kiya aur kahaan le gaye. So yes, frankly there were some bits worth savoring like the NKK angle for the NT track but overall the morphing into a bigger mess sadly took away from it. Lol it was hard to keep track of the story cuz the writers kept convoluting the threads.


As for SC, well I guess people evolve with time. Sadly not always for the better. If she is so easily swayed by the opinions of people who are mostly hyper teenagers obsessing over her, then that shows her lack of spine. I honestly wonder now if this is just her own hidden desire coming out. No one does things to this extent to pander. She is genuinely that desperate to be considered “sexy”...that comes before everything for her....even acting. Sadly, what she doesn’t realize is that desperation in itself will cancel out any “sexiness” you think you are projecting. 🤷‍♀️

Ah well. Regardless, when I still see her acting as Anika, I’m reminded that she did have talent...we didn’t imagine it 😆....no matter how much she is determined to erase it now with her horrible acting in Sanjivani and all this otherwise sad and despo obsession with lame photo shoots.

Let’s see if she manages to evolve towards acting growth again in the future 🤷‍♀️

About NM ki webseries the book sounds meh, to be honest. Although I haven’t read it and don’t intend to. Don’t know anything about his costar. So reserving judgement on that. :) And honestly after SC as Anika, the bar is high and it’s going to be difficult for me to easily like someone unless they turn out to be great actors. The only thing that is interesting so far is that it is made by the producers of Broken but Beautiful (I think) and although I am yet to watch it, it sounds good from yours and Fary’s reviews. But same producers doesn’t necessarily mean good content too because there have been enough examples on TV of the same PH producing good and crap content. The plus point is webseries hai to finite hai of 10 episodes only. 😛 And preshot so plotline won’t illogically change everyday.

After dhinchak NM ka bhi judgement suspect hai in choosing content 😛 other than the fact that he is exploring different platforms like short film, audiobook, webseries etc. which is interesting. But beyond that reserving judgement :). Not too sure whether he has chosen any wiser than her. May be not.

About SC, she was so so good as Anika that I am little disappointed to see her coming across as wannabe ish. Like all she is focused on is being glamorous and sexy and just getting pouty pics taken on set. I am not saying that she is like that. But she is coming across that way to me these days. That is what is projected. Which is sad having seen what fantastic work she did as Anika. Sanjivani toh maine kuch zyada dekha nahin hai but here and there jo thodasa dekha hai her acting has left me underwhelmed although her fandom seems to be hyping her acting in it so much and so Bhaskar worthy. But be that as it may as Anika she was fantastic. Loved her as Anika. So I guess some soft corner will always remain :).
